Following Style.com’s closure two months ago, Australian fashion muse and leader on the street style frontier Yasmin Sewell has been named fashion director of the website. That’s right, you can stop pondering on Style.com’s return because it’s coming back with a bang next year under the helm of Yasmin’s style know-how.
The site, which acted as a viable online resource for fashion, beauty and lifestyle for over fifteen years, is introducing a new commerce-focused version of the website, scheduled to launch in 2016. According to The Cut, this will roll out in the UK, followed by the US.
With Être Cécile designer Yasmin in charge of the brand’s new fashion direction, the website is in trusted hands and the relaunch is something for the fashion-savvy crowd to look forward to.
“Yasmin’s unique vision for products, trends and talents will be pivotal in Style.com’s growth,” Franck Zayan, president of Style.com, revealed in a statement (via Harper’s Bazaar). We have to agree with him on that one as Yasmin certainly has an eye for detail, evident in her reoccurring appearances on Vogue‘s website as a street style regular.
One small step for Yasmin, one giant leap for fashion kind.
