Our transformation to Empire‘s Cookie Lyon is almost complete. We’re already painting our nails with polish inspired by the Lyon family matriarch and now thanks to Hood by Air, we can pay homage to her with our clothing too.
The fashion brand collaborated with Empire on a new collection that ranges from dresses to champagne glasses and keychains. It brilliantly features popular quotes front the show like Cookie’s famous line “I want what’s mine.”
Like Deborah Lippman (and the rest of the world), Hood by Air’s creative director, Shayne Oliver, is obsessed with Mrs. Lyon: “For me, it’s all about Cookie,” he said. “Since the first episode, Wednesday nights have become a tradition for my friends and I. We know every look, scene and catchphrase by heart. When putting this collection together I wanted to shine a spotlight on the characters we loved (and hated) most as well as the moments immortalized in memes that keep us cracking up all day!”
