Sneak Peek: Ronda Rousey Wears Nothing but Body Paint for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Who needs a string bikini when you can just wear body paint? Ronda Rousey posed for Sports Illustrated‘s 2016 Swimsuit Issue covered in nothing but watercolor. “I was one of the lucky few chosen to be a canvas for a hand painted masterpiece,” Rousey posted on Instagram, revealing that the process took a mere 14 hours. “I can’t wait to show you guys the final pics the when the issue hits stands!”

For the 2016 issue, the MMA fighter flew to Grenada to pose for noted photographer Frederic Pinet. Sports Illustrated teased Rousey’s appearance in the magazine with a few behind-the-scenes photos in an effort to scoop the paparazzi. The paint is inspired by a popular We Are Handsome swimsuit.

This is the MMA fighter’s second time posing for the famed issue. In 2015, she posed for the magazine in a sexy halter swimsuit. As gorgeous as last year’s swimsuit-clad photos were, we’re sure nothing compares to her body paint images which hit newsstands next month.
