Whitney Port Is the Latest Celeb to Launch an Activewear Line

Remember when celebrity clothing lines were all the rage and you couldn’t walk through Macy’s without seeing designs from Diddy, Beyoncé and the like? Well, now it seems activewear has replaced your standard ready-to-wear collection.

When it’s time to suit up for the gym, you can choose from designs by Rihanna for Fenty x Puma, Kate Hudson for Fabletics, Jessica Simpson’s The Warm Up, Carrie Underwood’s Calia, Julianne Hough’s MPG Sport, Sofia Vergara for Kmart, Heidi Klum for New Balance and Beyoncé’s new collab with Topshop, Ivy Park. And if that’s not enough, Whitney Port just jumped on the activewear train.

The former The Hills reality star is gearing up to launch an activewear line with Target, WWD reports. The Whitney Eve designer approached Target with the collaboration and the mass retailer loved her idea. Rumored to launch in September, Port’s activewear line will embrace a feminine, ethereal aesthetic drawing from her love for ballet. Sounds perfect for your barre class, right? Look for “funky prints” to surface in the line as well.

One thing’s for sure: there will be a lot of well-dressed women at the gym next season.
