Watch: Taylor Swift’s 73 Questions Interview Is Just as Awesome as Her Vogue Cover

We’re sensing another Taylor Swift image-buoying crossover on the horizon, and we’re psyched. The multiple Grammy Award-winning artist’s recent Heidi Slimane-inspired Vogue cover shows Swift in a whole new light and it’s very much a magic hour, heavenly type of glow.

“We thought that we could take Taylor — who is a beautiful, beautiful girl but has been a little bit more conservative in her fashion choices — and turn her into a Hedi Slimane rock ‘n’ roll girl,” said Anna Wintour of the breathtaking May spread. “She was completely up for it and loved it, and is going to hopefully continue with this look.” We wholeheartedly agree, and based on Swift’s appropriation of the towering Vetements boots she wears in the editorial and her recent transition to platinum blonde, we’d say Wintour’s fashion forecasting skills are sharp as ever.

Swift participated in Vogue’s 73 Questions franchise as part of her cover girl duties and let us say, the results are just as awe-inducing. Not that we’d expect anything less from an artist who’s know for keeping it extremely real and personal and standing up for what she believes in. Remember that time she held back her album 1989 from Apple Music in protest of artists’ rights? Brilliant.

Our top five (in no particular order) of the 73 Q&A’s are:

Q.: “What was the best birthday cake you’ve ever had?”

A.: “It was from Milk Bar it was for my 25th birthday and it was so good that even Jay Z raved about it.”

…Because we dream of Milk Bar’s birthday cake-flavored anything.

Q.: “What does creativity mean to you?”

A.: “Creativity is getting inspiration and having that lightening bolt idea moment and then having the hard work ethic to sit down at the desk and write it down.”

…Because the struggle of putting pen to paper is so real.

Q.: “What’s one song you wish you had written?”

A.: “The Friends theme song ‘cause of those royalties.”

…Because we respect the hustle.

Q.: “What’s the one thing you wish you knew at 19?”

A.: “If I could talk to my 19-year-old self I’d just say hey, you know, you’re gonna date just like a normal 20-something should be allowed to but you’re going to be a national lightning rod for slut-shaming.”

…Because, in a perfect world, the entire concept of slut-shaming would be banned.

Q.: “What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done.”

A.: “Writing the Apple Music letter.”

…Because that was truly a boss move.
