How Much Richer Is Gisele Bündchen Than Forbes’ Other Highest-Paid Models?

Image: SIPA/WENN.com

Forbes released its annual report on the industry’s highest-paid models and, not surprisingly, Gisele Bündchen tops the list having reportedly earned $47 million this year — $5 million more than she is said to have made in 2013. Doutzen Kroes and Adriana Lima round out the top three with $8 million a piece.

But to give you an idea of just how well-paid Gisele is, think about this: Her earnings are more than the top six models on the list combined. That means Liu Wen, Doutzen, Kate Upton, Kate Moss, Miranda Kerr and Adriana could put their money into a pool and Gisele would still have $3 million more than them. $3 million happens to be what Joan Smalls, Daria Werbowy, Lindsey Wixson, Erin Heatherton, Erin Wasson and Candice Swanepoel each made this year.

We always expect Gisele to snag Forbes‘ top spot — that’s never a shock. But there were a few unexpected surprises on this list. One is that Jourdan Dunn makes about half a million more than the ever present Cara Delevingne. Kate Upton is a newcomer to the list, raking in $7 million this year. Karlie Kloss, Jourdan, Anja Rubik and Cara are also newbies (to the list, that is), who have clearly been busting their butts these past months. We have a feeling this isn’t the last time we’ll see these girls make it on Forbes.

Lauren Bacall Fashion Exhibit to Open at The Museum at FIT

Just a week after her death, The Museum at FIT announced plans for an exhibit on Lauren Bacall, focusing on her inimitable style. Next spring, the museum will showcase the star’s iconic fashion, thanks to the 700 or so looks she donated to FIT while she was alive. Noted for blending practical, masculine pieces with more glamorous, feminine items, Bacall’s style proved to be timeless and still relevant to fashion today. No doubt this show will be an illustration of that fact.

Lauren reportedly only agreed to do the project if the exhibit was managed tastefully, “as long as it’s high-quality — Diana Vreeland style,” Valerie Steele, museum director, told The Hollywood Reporter.

The exhibit plans to focus on the late actress’ outfits from the 50s and the 60s, particularly those crafted by five specific designers, one being the father of American high fashion, Norman Norell, a friend of the late actress. You’ll also find pieces from Yves Saint Laurent, Ungaro, Pierre Cardin and Marc Bohan for Christian Dior

We don’t know when the show will launch, but we will be keeping our ears open for a date.

Even though Renee Bargh has been living it up in Los Angeles as Extra‘s co-host for quite some time now, the Queensland-born TV personality must still have a soft spot for her home country and its talented designers.

She did us proud on the Creative Arts Emmy Awards’ red carpet, stepping out in an elegant black gown by Melbourne-based designer Bariano. Renee styled the strapless piece perfectly with a gold diamond-encrusted choker fit for a Greek goddess, plus simple black heels exposed by the the front thigh split of the piece.

Perhaps the most breathtaking of the getup was the braided updo by hair stylist Erin McKay, which Renee continued to rock at the Malibu Beach House the following day. “Sunday at the Bu. Yesterday’s hair don’t care. #myhappyplace #beachbun,” Renee wrote to her Instagram, with a photo of her lounging in a bikini.
