Miranda Kerr’s nude January 2016 cover for Harper’s Bazaar Australia has been pulled from Coles shelves as it was deemed inappropriate for customers.
The cover shows off the Aussie supermodel’s assets as she leans back on a balcony wearing nothing but designer heels, with Yahoo7 Lifestyle believing that it was removed from the grocery store’s stands because of internal criticism. “We didn’t think the cover was appropriate for our stores so the decision was made,” a Coles spokesman told the publication.
Honestly, we’re not totally surprised. Coles reels in customers of all ages and relationship statuses, plus, people can be especially on-edge this time of year and might find the image offensive. Not everyone, but some. (more…)
