This is not a joke: clip-in man buns have arrived. This will obviously delight every man struggling to grow out their man bun in time for Movember. Instead of furiously searching Google (making man buns the most searched hair trend of 2015), you can just pop a clip-in on top of your ponytail and voila, you’re a shoo-in for Jared Leto in a matter of seconds. If you’re so inclined, there’s a $9.99 sale running currently on Groupon with three steps to achieve the look:
“1. Comb your hair back toward the crown of your head, in a similar motion to lacquering a reclaimed-wood coffee table. 2. Attach the man bun to your natural hair the way the lay public attached itself to Arcade Fire. 3. Use bobby pins to secure the man bun, decide bobby pins are too mainstream, use antique paper clips instead.”
And in case you’re skeptical that anyone would actually purchase this travesty, note that twenty clip-in man buns have already been sold. Guys, we hate to say it, but we saw this coming. The man bun was declared the quintessential Mens hairstyle of the 2010s so it was only a matter of time before extensions surfaced. It’s too bad we didn’t hear about it in time for Halloween. It would’ve made the perfect hipster costume.
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have to be two of the hunkiest men of Hollywood, however, when one tries to be the other it quickly ends up in the Horror section of the video store, or Netflix category, or whatever new-age film services your are currently using. Point is, it’s bloody scary.
The Australian Wolverine posted an Instagram video on Monday of Ryan impersonating him, but was, unfortunately for our eyes and our dreams tonight, decked out in his Deadpool prosthetic makeup.

“G’Day mate. Hugh Jackman here,” Ryan says in a wildly unconvincing Aussie accent. “Just reminding you to get your votes in for People‘s Sexiest Man Live. Cover’s coming up,” he continued, freaky as all hell. Even though Hugh was crowned People‘s Sexiest Man Alive in 2008, Blake Lively’s husband clearly thinks he deserves to win the title all over again.
Watch the video for yourself in the Instagram post above. Be wary, though, because you’ll never look at Ryan the same ever again in this all-confusing change-up.
Model Cassi van den Dungen can’t even with the lack of likes she’s getting on her Instagram pictures, lashing out at her some 8,817 followers for not double tapping a relatively standard photo.
The Australia’s Next Top Model 2009 runner-up, who has made headlines for claiming unpaid work from Josh Goot and also because of her slim figure during Fashion Week Australia last year, put up one of those motivational type photos we see so often reading, “Say yes to new adventures” only to be let down by the unenthused reaction.

Her following post today circled the 14 likes she received, writing, “After going away on an amazing holiday/road trip I come home to see my post on new adventures had only 14 likes…..The lowest amount I’ve ever had on Instagram….”
Going on to say that she’s shocked because this either means that people don’t like her having new adventures or people don’t like new adventures in general, not considering the fact that a black and white font-based picture doesn’t necessarily stop anyone in their scrolls long enough to tap twice.
Needless to say, homegirl’s angry. “Either way, all I have to say to those people who didn’t like my post and don’t like having fun is ……YOU ALL SUCK!!!!! Adventures are fun and I’ll enjoy every one I have.”
Responses to her post are reaching Essena O’Neill territory, with commenters slamming the model for seeking validation through numbers and likes, a very real thing in today’s day and age. “The irony is that you claim to exercise the idea of adventure yet you measure the relevance of it by the amount of likes you get. #fail,” one person wrote. “Relax, likes don’t mean a thing in the real world…,” another said.
Over in normal human being land, we think 14 likes is pretty decent.
Harajuku fashion isn’t just for the people, you know, and self-professed Kawaii fiend Gwen Stefani is proving that with her new “Harajuku Lovers” line for Petco.
Boasting teeny hoodies, socks and bandannas, chew toys, bow ties and more printed with emojis, checks, stripes and union jacks for the doggies with all the sass, Gwen said the pieces are “playful, modern and super kawaii”. It’s not just for the “Rich Girl” either with prices starting at an accessible $5, but you know it don’t matter anyway, because this shit is bananas yet we all want in. (more…)
Carrie Bickmore’s gold logie acceptance speech went viral this year after she used the opportunity to raise awareness of brain cancer, the same disease which took her late husband, Greg Lange, back in 2010. Slapping on a beanie and asking Australia to do the same, the #BeaniesForBrainCancer hashtag received so much support that Carrie has now decided to turn the movement into a foundation, Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer, all kicking off with a music, comedy and food festival next month. The Vogue podcast with Andre Leon Talley is up and running and of course they tapped former cover model Kim Kardashian as a featured guest. Between her app, social media accounts, reality show and video game, you’d think Kim has already shared everything there is to know about her life. In the podcast, Kim reveals her favorite Paris restaurants, current pregnancy cravings, #closetgoals and so much more. And in true Kardashian form, Kim makes sure to plug upcoming Kardashian business endeavors like a holiday selfie book and Kourtney Kardashian’s app, debuting in December.
Check out excerpts from Kim and Andre’s chat:
On her peculiar distaste for Thanksgiving food: “I actually don’t love Thanksgiving food. Isn’t that weird? I don’t love it all. I love the tradition and I love hanging out with the family, but I don’t really love the food so I never get tempted really. But around Christmas time I love the sweets and all of that.”
On the downside to her huge social media following: “I love posting! It’s so much fun just to see someone’s life through photos. But it’s also pretty crazy once you don’t post something […] it’s almost as if it never happened because you didn’t post it. Like, people didn’t believe my sisters graduated from high school because we didn’t post about it!” (more…)
