Kate Moss Returns for Stella McCartney’s Fall 2014 Ad Campaign (Forum Buzz)

The fall advertisements still continue to roll out and Stella McCartney‘s are the latest to land on our forums. McCartney brought back everyone’s favorite Brit model and long-term friend, Kate Moss, to front her latest collection, making this Kate’s seventh campaign for the label (Kate’s last appearance was Spring 2009). Photographed by Turkish duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Kate was shot in London for the fashion spots where she is seen posing against a studio backdrop with effortlessly styled hair and minimal makeup. According to WWD, McCartney styled the campaign herself, which showcases the brand’s new Cavendish handbag in one of the ads.

Cate Blanchett rarely steps a foot wrong when it comes to looking absolutely divine, and let’s be honest, the Australian actress’ porcelain complexion definitely helps her out. Cate’s outfit for this SK-II promotional event in Shanghai was no exception. She wore an elegant Elie Saab Spring 2013 Couture number in her role as the skincare’s ambassador.

The white lace, scalloped-hem pencil dress was styled perfectly with pointed nude heels, delicate diamond accessories and soft makeup. The 45-year-old never ceases to amaze with her classy, soft colour choices that always complement her blond locks and fair skin, plus age-appropriate hemlines and shapes. We’re giving Cate a big thumbs up for this effortless and refined look, because the woman seemingly always gets it right.

Industrial Influences for SABA’s Spring 2015 Campaign

Saba Spring Summer 14 15 campaign

Although SABA remains true to its signature style of modern simplicity and high-quality design, the brand’s new Spring 2015 range sees a broader, more directional aesthetic for the Australian label. The newest campaign perfectly encompasses SABA’s new path, with the brand’s first on-location shoot taking place at a remote container park in Sydney.

Highly-acclaimed UK photographer Roger Deckker, who has worked with a mix of prestigious fashion names and brands like Anna Wintour, Oasis, Lanvin and Dolce & Gabbana, photographed the industrial-themed shoot, with a result that is visually engaging surely due to its extreme, high-resolution effect.

With models that could easily be The Sims characters, thanks to the computerised feel of the campaign, the new season’s clothing looks slicker, brighter and better than ever on the incredibly stiff-looking talent. Think crisp silhouettes and fine pleating in greens, mustards, grays and whites with pops of metallic that manage to look super-sophisticated regardless of the shipping containers as a chosen backdrop. Christian Louboutin Would Like to Sell You $50 Nail Polish Now

Just when you thought nail art was on its way out, Christian Louboutin hops on the trend by introducing a new lacquer range, part of which is due to hit shelves at the Saks Fifth Avenue Manhattan flagship store and Louboutin boutiques today. The designer is launching Rouge Louboutin — a red polish in the fiery hue of his signature soles — ahead of the 30 other colors in the collection. The new shade will be celebrated with two U.S. launches, this one and another come August 6, when you’ll be able to find Rouge Louboutin at select Sephoras, Nordstroms, Bergdorf Goodmans and the rest of Neiman Marcus’ stores.

But before you rush to your nearest Louboutin boutique to pick up the polish, make sure your wallet’s got the necessary reinforcements. A single bottle will set you back a whopping $50 — that’s over $20 dollars more than a bottle of Chanel Le Vernis ($27), and Chanel’s already considered one of the more expensive nail polish brands. What’s in Louboutin’s bottles that makes his concoctions worth $50? Diamond dust? The secret to eternal youth? (more…)

Vogue Japan September 2014 Perfect Icons

Naturally, the majority of our forum members are delighted with the supermodel reunion. “Vogue September issues kickoff! This looks sensational. It’s simple but for me, has maximum impact. I’ve noticed they’ve grouped the models into the decades, i.e. 80s, 90s and 00s, [for which] they were most well known,” wrote AL92.

“I knew it would be epic! And I am so happy it’s a fold-out cover! Can’t wait to get this issue soon!” enthused Starry.

Nepenthes was also very excited and posted, “This is almost too iconic! Everyone looks so pristine and flawless. Great job, Vogue Japan, there is nothing about this cover that I don’t love. Can’t wait for the eds!”

“Damn, I can’t stop looking at this. The most perfect group shot. I love the middle section the most, with Guinevere, Eva, Carolyn, etc., but the rest is perfect as well. This set the bar very high for other September issues,” commented anlabe32.

“This is a must-buy issue!” added LRlovesDaria.

See inside the thread for the full fold-out cover and join the excitement here.
