Watch: Victoria’s Secret Rounds Up Its Angels for a Superbowl Commercial Teaser

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and Victoria’s Secret would like to remind you to update your lingerie stash – and they’re doing it right in the middle of the Superbowl. The retailer has tapped Angels Candice Swanepoel, Karlie Kloss, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo and Alessandra Ambrosio to star in a commercial set to air during the game.

The lingerie giant released a pre-commercial of sorts today to get fans psyched for the Angel’s Superbowl unveiling. Obviously, the teaser is football-themed, with the girls throwing, running and scoring touchdowns until the end of the video when they take off their helmets to show off long, VS Angel-worthy hair.

“Don’t drop the ball,” the ad instructs, “It’s not Valentine’s Day without Victoria’s Secret.” Alright, alright, we’ll buy some panties, jeez!

Watch the teaser above and get ready for VS’s 30-second spot, airing February 1.

Julianne Moore Sets InStyle Straight on Her Spray Tan Routine

Image: Wenn

A little hump day hilarity for you in which Julianne Moore fact checks InStyle magazine in the most public way possible. The lady mag tweeted out a link to an interview with the actress where she details how she gets red carpet ready. “I like a good spray tan—it’s a must,” she told the magazine. Seems like a pretty acceptable answer — except Julianne says she wasn’t being serious when she said it.

When the mag tweeted Julianne’s beauty regimen, the actress swiftly responded to set the record straight.

Oops. When we think about it, of course she was kidding. The star’s fair complexion is a dead giveaway that she probably isn’t hitting the tanning salon prior to the red carpet, but her comments could have confused the interviewer: “You have no idea how white I am because this is tan! Can you imagine what I’d look like without one? That would be horrible.” We can see how someone would have mistaken her self-deprecating joke for a real admission.

Alas, these things tend to happen when Mercury is in retrograde.

Watch: Here’s Kendall Jenner’s First Ad for Estée Lauder

Kendall Jenner’s turn at Estée Lauder begins with this 39-second spot for the brand’s Little Black Primer product. Kendall’s clearly been practicing her smize in the mirror in anticipation of this ad, for which she casts several side-eye glances — not the shady kind, the sexy, mysterious kind.

The product is supposed to tint your lashes black, work as a base to punch up your regular mascara (which, if Estée Lauder had a choice, we’d wager would be one of its own mascaras) or as a tool to seal your mascara with its water-resistant formula. The film shows Kendall’s lean silhouette, her dark brown locks blowing in the wind of an expertly placed diva fan (à la Beyoncé), interspersed with close-ups of her eyes and a couple shots of her stomping around in her peep-toe booties.

Quite a debut from the buzzy up-and-comer. Watch Kendall in action above.

“She’s definitely grown up! Feeling the maturity and sexy vibe coming through loud and clear!” commented justaguy, starting us off on a positive note by raving about the first set of images.

“So happy to see Daphne in a major campaign again! She looks phenomenal!” complimented Nepenthes, thrilled with the casting this season.

Also appreciative of the casting was burbuja8910: “Amazing, Daphne fits so well with the clothes.”

Nymphaea was pleasantly surprised, too and echoed, “Didn’t expect Daphne here. Very Tom Ford!”

“So happy they did without Natalie and Gigi, they both did not fit the TF aesthetic at all. Daphne definitely fits TF. It’ll be interesting to see how Binx pulls it off,” wondered VersaceVixen009, approving of the American designer’s choice of models this season.

Gucci has finally come forward today to appoint Alessandro Michele as its new creative director. The announcement was expected and though the list of rumored heirs to Frida Giannini’s vacated seat included names like Riccardo Tisci and Peter Dundas, Gucci decided to hire from within and put its former accessories designer at the helm of the label.
