McDonald’s, international pusher of the Happy Meal, is getting a bit of a fashionable makeover with the help of Colette. The “food” giant and Paris-based boutique are teaming up for a capsule collection that, of course, is heavy on the McDonald’s theme. Taking inspiration from items like french fries and the Big Mac, the collection will include clothes and accessories for fans of the fast food joint who missed out on Moschino’s pricey McDonald’s-themed Fall 2014 pieces.
Graphic representations of popular menu items will appear on notebooks, smartphone cases, T-shirts and totes. And while this particular range isn’t as flashy as Moschino’s, it still seems a little repetitive after how ubiquitous those fry-shaped smartphone cases were last year. But hey, if there’s still a demand for fast food fashion, who better than McDonald’s to cash in?
The collection will be available in stores and online from May 4 to 31.
Along with Gemma Ward, Sasha Pivovarova is a model we tend to be biased toward in our forums. She returns to front the May 2015 issue of Vogue Korea sporting one of Nicolas Ghesquière‘s Pre-Fall 2015 designs for Louis Vuitton. Sticking to their roots of originality, Sasha sits in front of an unusual large aquarium fish tank while perched on a bench as if on location in some trendy downtown restaurant. Can Vogue Korea keep up their winning streak this month?
Forum members weren’t satisfied in the slightest. “Seems like every other month she’s on a Vogue Korea cover. She’s amazing but I am not really fond of this cover,” summoned TeeVanity right away.
“It’s a bit of an eyesore so I’m hoping the better quality cover has a better saturation. Having said that, it’s an okay cover. There’s really something off with the turtle neck and her hair together it makes her head look big and popping?” asked MON.
GlamorousBoy wasn’t interested either writing, “What a mess.” Is it really that bad?
Sharing the same sentiments was Benn98: “Weird. When I checked their IG earlier they previewed this cover and it was blue. Should’ve gone with that instead of this green. I’m surprised to see Vogue Korea repeat a model in such a short span of time. Not fond of this one at all, unfortunately.”
“The cover had the potential and the elements to make it good but it does not work at all, it’s a mess basically. The hair and styling are awful, OMG! Sasha is a great model and I liked the idea of the aquarium but they did not pull it off,” echoed Bertrando3.
Yet not everyone was left baffled. “I like this cover; it’s an odd color combination but very striking. Definitely something I’d be drawn to on the newsstand,” cestmagique noted.

Plenty of people were offended by Giorgio Armani’s Sunday Times interview this weekend, in which he outlined his personal guidelines for how gay men should dress, but it wasn’t those homophobic and insensitive remarks that have Donatella Versace seeing red.
During the interview, Armani talked about his more conservative approach to fashion, attempting to illustrate this with an alleged quote from the late Gianni Versace. According to Armani, Versace “was looking at the models, and he said to me, ‘I dress sluts. You dress church ladies.’”
Seems like a pretty innocuous comment between fellow designers. Except Donatella Versace was not at all amused and she says that Armani made up the exchange entirely. “I find it extremely rude and tasteless that Mr. Armani has once again put words into my brother’s mouth, especially because he is sadly no longer with us to reply,” she said. “This is the second time he claims this was said. The first was immediately after his death, and he apologized to me. When my brother spoke about fashion, the only word that ever came from his mouth was glamour. What should be said about my brother is: May Gianni Versace rest in peace.”
Yeesh. Seems like Armani is offending everyone this week.
There are beautiful women all over the world, but this year, none are as beautiful as Sandra Bullock – at least according to People magazine, who has named her 2015’s Most Beautiful Woman. The 50-year-old actress and mom says her reaction to receiving the honor was a laugh and a “That’s ridiculous,” as she seems mostly concerned with her career and her son. Which is probably why Bullock is a perfect choice for this issue.
The accompanying interview is full of adorable anecdotes about conversations with her 5-year-old son Louis. She recalls one day she spent “listening to him tell me why he was going to marry his girlfriend… But then we were having Sunday dinner, and he said he changed his mind. I just told him, ‘Always love those who want to love you back and are nice to you.’ Then we moved back to Legos and ‘Why are you making me eat broccoli?'”
Too cute. Bullock tops this year’s list of other beautiful celebrities, including Vanessa Hudgens, Gabrielle Union, Laverne Cox, Taraji P. Henson, Gigi Hadid, Ariana Grande and more.
People‘s World’s most Beautiful issue will hit newsstands on Friday.
You would think that Kanye West, aka the Steve Jobs of existence, would be thrilled to know that he and his wife Kim Kardashian have such an overwhelming effect on people that they start fainting and bowing in the face of their glory. What kind of god is Yeezus if he can’t accept due praise and acknowledgement from his loyal followers?
At last night’s TIME 100 gala, comedian and Kanye West fan Amy Schumer attempted to give Kimye their due deference by playing a hilarious prank on the famous couple. As Kim and Kanye posed on the red carpet, Schumer pretended to fall down in front of them, which sadly garnered no reaction from Kim or Kanye. Is this how they treat their fans?
When asked about the prank, Schumer said, “I saw them and said to my publicist, ‘Can I pretend to fall?’ and she said, ‘I can’t stop you.’” And we’re glad she didn’t.
Though Kim and Kanye didn’t seem to find the stunt funny, the rest of us did. We didn’t think it was possible, but now we love Amy Schumer even more than ever before.
Forum members don’t often take notice of Harper’s Bazaar China, but with the pair of intriguing subjects on its May 2015 issue, the thread was on fire. Fresh off the cover of Jalouse alongside Hailey Baldwin, Instagram sensation Lucky Blue Smith stars on the cover with his sister Pyper America. Photographed by David Roemer, the pair participates in a minimalist shoot, sporting white outfits while posing in true Zoolanderfashion.
“I like this cover, it’s better than the one he did with Hailey,” complimented TeeVanity, showing the cover some love.
“What a nice cover! I love this minimalism. The grey and white combination is perfect to me. Good work Harper’s Bazaar China,” narcyza applauded.
Although the rest of us were left unsure. “I’m bothered by letters over her head, which is bad. Also wish she’d look into the camera instead. Who even are they btw?” questioned KateTheGreatest.
Benn98 felt the same way. “What odd sounding names, who are these people? I must admit I quite like the cover, a bit irked that the masthead covers her face,” he noted.
“I like this cover, very nice and fresh. Too bad about the letters over her face, I agree. But the composition and the styling are rather cool,” Emmanuelle agreed.
Also not feeling the placement of the masthead was gossiping: “Why did they cut her out? Weird.”
