When those five men broke into the Hôtel de Pourtalès, gagged and bound Kim Kardashian and made off with over 10 million dollars worth of jewelry, they didn’t just deprive Kim’s engagement ring of its bigger and better twin, they robbed the world of a cultural phenomenon. According to Us Weekly, Keeping Up With the Kardashians is “on hold indefinitely” while Kim recovers from the traumatic event and reevaluates how much of her personal life she makes public.
In a statement released this Thursday, a spokesperson for E! (the network that’s hosted the reality show for nearly a decade) wrote “Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now. No decision has been made as to when production will resume.” As one would hope, the film crew did not show up at Kim’s apartment after the robbery, nor have they filmed reaction interviews with any of the Kardashians/Jenners/Wests.
