Lady Gaga Plays ‘Digitally Dead’ and Other Celebrity Twitter Pics of the Week

This week’s peek into the celebrity-ruled world of Twitter reveals Whitney Port‘s special way of getting in the holiday spirit, Snooki showed her love for both U.S. troops and a celebrity friend, Rachel Zoe is sweet on Twilight, and more.

Celebrity tweets were pretty quiet this week, due to the number of stars who pledged their “digital life” to HIV/AIDS awareness through buylife.org. That means they pledged to not tweet until fans donated enough money to buy back their digital life, raising support for Keep a Child Alive. Kim Kardashian, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Elijah Wood, Janelle Monae, and many other celebs are all “dead.” Here’s Lady Gaga‘s “last tweet and testament”:

Thankfully, other celebs were alive and well on Twitter this week, like fashionista Whitney Port. No decoration says “holiday cheer” like tinsel, but usually it stays on the tree. Port, however, got festive by adding some semi-permanent sparkle to her hair. She went to Drybar in Hollywood, where she and a friend had tinsel attached to their hair. She tweeted that she can wash, curl, and flat iron it for 2-6 weeks until the “hair bling” falls out. ‘Tis the season!

Stars showed their support for U.S. troops around the world at VH1’s Divas Salute the Troops. Snooki posted a photo posing in a sailor outfit with Nicki Minaj (not sure what kind of troop she was representing) with the caption “Love you [girl]! Makin me shake.” Katy Perry keeps her manicure updates coming, and showed off the glitzy camo fakes she was about to have put on for the event.

Access Hollywood correspondent Maria Menounos hung out at Disney’s Magic Kingdom to tape the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade Special, and got to meet all the princesses in miniature form.

Rachel Zoe posted a pic of a “little Hannukah treat”– some Twilight: New Moon Sweetheart candies– with the caption: “…love it… so embarrassing.” Who knew Rachel was a closet Twi-hard?
