Sidney Toledano Condemns Galliano at Dior Show; Robert Pattinson Admires Charlie Sheen

Speaking on behalf of the House of Dior, Toledano said that it had “been deeply painful to see the Dior name associated with the disgraceful statements attributed to its designer, however brilliant he may be…Such statements are intolerable because of our collective duty to never forget the Holocaust and its victims, and because of the respect for human dignity that is owed to each person and to all peoples.” Commenting on the legacy of the fashion label, Toledano didn’t neglect to mention that Christian Dior’s sister had been deported to Buchenwald during the Second World War, and described the founder as a man of moral courage and generosity. Charlie Sheen‘s been doing his best to outdo John Galliano’s public meltdown, and might be succeeding. As Galliano heads to rehab, Sheen has been doing ill-advised laps around the media circuit as the world looks on, cringing. Sheen’s even gotten himself a Twitter, so you can watch him spew nonsense 140 characters at a time [RightCelebrity]. And apparently you want to, because Sheen’s Twitter page landed him the spot for “Fastest Time to Reach 1 Million Followers” in the Guinness Book of World Records [HaveUHeard]. And just as Galliano has his defenders, Sheen has his own. His most unlikely fan? The mild-mannered Twilight heartthrob, Robert Pattinson, who told Vanity Fair that he admired Sheen’s antics: “I like crazy people who don’t give a f**k.” [HollywoodDame]

Guess what Blake Lively wore to yesterday’s Chanel dinner, held in her honor? Duh, Chanel. You’d think she wouldn’t have gone with something so obvious. [GirlsTalkinSmack]

Penelope Cruz hates her brother’s girlfriend, Eva Longoria. Cruz thinks Longoria’s a hack actress and just using Eduardo Cruz to further her career. Uh, or Eduardo and Eva are two very attractive, very successful individuals that happen to like each other. Butt out, Penelope. [AnythingHollywood]

And as your end-of-the-week treat, my favorite eleven-year-old, Willow Smith, went on Oprah to whip her hair. Video below! [DippedInCream]
