Olivia Wilde may be best known as Dr. Remy “Thirteen” Hadley on House, but this actress also has a reputation for regularly impressing on the red carpet. We even awarded her a starring role on a recent Best Dressed list thanks to her atypical Yigal Azrouël Resort 2012 selection for the 10th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball. Olivia has been branching out into a lot of film roles lately including a part alongside Daniel Craig in Cowboys & Aliens which comes out at the end of July.

When Tron: Legacy premiered back in December of last year, Olivia certainly made her presence known on the blue carpet. She donned a fittingly celestial one-sleeved Giorgio Armani Fall 2010 number worn over sheer black tights for the London leg of the promotion which she paired with a Christian Louboutin clutch, Tiffany & Co. jewels and Stella McCartney heels. For the Los Angeles premiere, Olivia opted for this striking gold belted Emilio Pucci Resort 2011 gown. The jewelry was once again by Tiffany & Co., but this time the clutch was Judith Leiber and the pumps were courtesy of Louboutin.

The 27-year-old has always had a knack for looking stellar no matter the event. Just check out her BCBGMAXAZRIA ruffled collar creation accented by a grey belt and gold clutch for the 2008 Teen Choice Awards in August of that year. Poised in a lilac Reem Acra Bridal Spring 2008 dress with jewel waist detail, Olivia made the rounds at the NBC After Party for the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards in January 2009. Although hidden beneath that ruffled full skirt, Olivia also was wearing metallic Jimmy Choo sandals.

Mint green was a unique color choice for the Primetime Emmy Awards in September 2009. This Marchesa Spring 2010 embroidered chiffon dress was elegance personified. Marchesa was also behind the clutch while the jewels were provided by Kwiat. Olivia stuck with the fashion house for the GQ Men of the Year Awards two months later. Her structured white dress featured embroidery at the bodice and was partnered with Brian Atwood Marlo heels.

Olivia broke her Marchesa pattern at the Fox 2010 Winter All-Star Party in January 2010 sporting this shocking blue Alexander McQueen Spring 2010 dress with shoulder and hip details combined with cagey Jimmy Choo Quito sandals. She was back in Marchesa though a few days later wearing this embellished floral gown for the Art of Elysium’s Heaven Gala. Brian Atwood’s Maniac heels, another Judith Leiber clutch as well as Carla Amorim earrings and bangles served as on-point accessories.

In March 2010, Olivia appeared at the 2010 Film Independent Spirit Awards in a printed silk Ralph Lauren offering. The gown is from the label’s Fall 2009 collection and her accessories picked up on its gold tones. A sequined skirt on this Michael Kors Fall 2010 dress made additional adornment unnecessary for the 2010 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards in November 2010.
