Paris Fashion Week and the Royal Wedding in Monaco made selecting this week's best dressed a bit more challenging since many celebs were in top form. Revisiting past collections seems to be popular with a lot of former couture gowns being granted a second life. There were also standout looks at premiere events from extravagant ball gowns to stellar pairs of pants.

Naomi Campbell is one of four models showing off her prowess in Givenchy’s Fall 2011 ad campaign, so it made sense she would attend Prince Albert of Monaco's wedding night gala in a couture gown by the fashion house. We love that this supermodel went back to the Fall 2009 collection for this halter neck number which featured emerald stone detailing coinciding wonderfully with those emerald earrings. This white gown from Valentino's Spring 2006 Couture collection fittingly transformed Anne Hathaway into a fairy princess for The White Fairy Tale Love Ball in Crespieres, France. The fantastic creation had a pleated bodice and ruffles galore on the skirt along with sequin detailing on the sleeves. Her Stephen Jones wreath topper completed the look.

Apparently, Diane Kruger got the white memo regarding the Chanel Fall 2011 Couture presentation during the fashion week festivities in Paris. Diane's elegantly embellished white Fall 2009 couture dress had an asymmetrical hem allowing her golden Sergio Rossi heels to be fully appreciated. For the Valentino couture presentation, Olivia Palermo, who has been taking in several shows while over in Paris, opted to combine two separate pieces from the legendary fashion house's Fall 2011 collection. Her semi-sheer top had a hint of sparkle and blended well with that bow accented skirt. She also had on black wooden platform Charlotte Olympia heels.
A true lady in red, model Daisy Lowe attended Elie Saab's Haute Couture Fall 2011 show in a striking long-sleeved crimson selection from the Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear collection. That extreme slit added an extra punch and Daisy even accessorized well thanks to her bronze-colored footwear as well as a leopard-print clutch. Cate Blanchett also decided to go the red route for the Armani Privé Fall 2011 Paris show. The Oscar-winning actress went couture in a skirt suit from the brand's Spring 2011 offering, which was slightly modified from the runway.

The final Harry Potter film is coming out this summer and one of its stars looked almost magical at a recent London photocall. Emma Watson stood out, especially compared to her more casually clad co-stars, in a Rafael Lopez frock featuring black lace overlay as well as ruffles on the shoulders and skirt. She polished it all off with Chanel pumps. Emma continued to impress at the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in London where she arrived in a tulle Oscar de la Renta Fall 2011 ball gown with embroidered bodice. Her Giuseppe Zanotti shoes were somewhat camouflaged under that full skirt.

Rosario Dawson went wild for the Los Angeles premiere of Zookeeper in a sequined zebra print Roberto Cavalli dress from the designer's Pre-Fall 2011 collection. The actress also donned violet drop earrings by Kimberly McDonald. In a slightly refreshing break from all the haute couture this week, Evan Rachel Wood attended the Season 8 premiere of Curb Your Enthusiasm in New York City in star-studded pants from Dolce & Gabbana's Fall 2011 collection. She threw in a Dennis Hopper tee, also from the label, as well as a leather jacket and coordinating grey heels.
