THE FASHION SPOT MODEL TOP 75

1. Catherine McNeil

One year ago today people were debating wether or not this Aussie was gonna survive her hype. Promoted as the next supermodel, Catherine McNeil had a lot to live up to. A six month exclusive for star-photographer Mario Testino was still not enough for everybody to be convinced. But Catherine proved to be the little model that could, and has been a pleasure to watch develop over the last six months. Perhaps not everyone is convinced of Cat’s superpower, but nobody can deny such the amazing editorial explosion she is currently experiencing. The Fashion Spot is convinced and therefore she is April’s number one!

2.   Suvi Koponen

The biggest Prada exclusive succes since Sasha has to be the Finnish model Suvi Koponen. Ever since she opened the S/S 07 Prada show, all eyes were on Suvi. After winning a ‘Next Top Model’ type show in Finland, things could not have gone better for this Scandinavian blonde. She rules all international runways and reigns over major magazines like Vogue UK and French Numero. After seeing her featured in last season’s Calvin Klein campaigns, the crowd knew that Suvi was going to be the belle of the ball for many seasons to come. Over the last few months she had made an incredible round throughout all the magazines. Deservedly so, she is the number two of April’s Top 75!
