Red was a hot color this week with several celebs opting to wear the hue on the red carpet. The fiery tone wasn’t the only pop of color, though. Deep purples and neons made appearances, while basic black received an upgrade thanks to lace and leather detailing.

Emma Stone has two films coming out and her premiere appearances are proving to be stellar showings. Tom Ford‘s lacy black Fall 2011 frock was the star’s on-point selection for the New York City premiere of Crazy, Stupid, Love. Her version was altered from the runway and she also wore Christian Louboutin metal-stiletto suede heels. The day before, she paired Giambattista Valli‘s crimson cashmere sweater and hot pink peplum silk skirt both from the Fall 2011 collection for the Friends with Benefits New York City unveiling. Nude Louboutins, a bronze clutch, and Jack Vartanian jewels expertly finished off the look.

The female lead in Friends with Benefits, Mila Kunis was nothing short of ravishing in a red off-the-shoulder Lanvin Resort 2012 gown at the film’s New York City premiere. Black satin pumps, which almost completely blended in with the darker carpet, and Fred Leighton jewelry served as accessories. Emmanuelle Chriqui is another celeb busy making the rounds all over the premiere circuit. Her best look came courtesy of this red-orange Julien Macdonald halter gown she wore to Entourage‘s Final Season Party in New York City styled with black Stuart Weitzman Fever pointy pumps, Lorraine Schwartz earrings and a black clutch.

She may play a horrible boss, but Jennifer Aniston looked lovely in a Valentino Fall 2011 Couture sparkling dress at the film’s London premiere. Tom Ford’s playful satin ankle-strap pumps only upped the outfit ante. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was back and in black promoting Transformers: Dark of the Moon over in Japan. Burberry‘s perfume poster girl hit the press conference clad in a leather Marios Schwab Spring 2011 dress with lace trim at the hem and a T-strap back which she combined with Christian Louboutin pumps.

Supermodel Karolina Kurkova is clearly a fan of Fendi donning a purple keyhole front Spring 2011 gown complemented by the fashion house’s olive faille colorblock ankle strap sandals. She also added in a corresponding olive cummerbund while attending the Ischia Global Film and Music Festival over in Ischia, Italy. As the latest face of Rimmel London, it was no surprise to see Solange Knowles at an event for the cosmetics brand over in London. She flawlessly combined her orange Lanvin top featuring a striking shoulder accent with khaki Zara trousers and also went the Fendi route when it came to her footwear deciding on grosgrain mix sandals.

Zoe Saldana is making an encore appearance on this week’s list thanks to the Balmain Resort 2012 ensemble she wore to the Los Angeles premiere of Captain America: The First Avenger. The fashionable actress smartly let the printed jacket and corresponding shorts standout by layering with just a white V-neck tee. Those Pois pumps by Brian Atwood added just enough of a kick. Rebecca Taylor‘s halter floral patterned dress with bright color block accents from her Resort 2012 offering fit right in with Whitney Port‘s notorious bohemian style vibe. The former reality TV star and current designer also sported Lia Sophia bracelets and beige sandals as she took in the Mara Hoffman show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012 down in Miami Beach.
