Look #1: At Work

Scottish actress and former model Karen Gillan knows that having a vibrant wardrobe doesn’t have to mean wearing something new everyday; she recycles her favorite essentials, mixing and matching to create looks that are fresh every time.  Leaving the Donmar Warehouse Theatre in London where she is currently performing the role of Shirley in the play Inadmissable Evidence, Gillan wore this season’s must-have red skinnies with a heathered sweater that’s perfect for fall, and added a fun touch with her white-and-black shoulder bag. Pairing the look with sophisticated black patent loafers (the suede Alexander McQueen version are in-demand among celebs) and a chic khaki trench rounded out the classic working-girl look.

Look #2: Night Out

Swap the skinnies and sweater for a pair of sheer, shimmery tights and a floral print dress, add a bright turquoise leather bucket bag, and suddenly those utilitarian loafers seem like the perfect night out flat. Gillan kept warm in a luxe Milly tweed cape coat and twisted her hair into a glamorous updo while out and about in Covent Garden, London.

Look #3: Shopping

That trench does double-duty as part of a mod yet undeniably current ensemble that Gillan wore while toting a shopping bag on the London streets. She wore it open to show off her on-trend black peter pan collared dress, which she wore over a pair of grey tights and black brogues for a preppy look without the pastels.
