This year has been a busy one for Jessica Chastain. She made the rounds elegantly promoting her numerous films at festivals and premieres. The actress was even just longlisted for the BAFTA Orange Wednesdays Rising Star Award and nominated for an Independent Film Spirit Award. With all this "Rising Star" has going on, we thought it was the perfect time to take a look at her sophisticated style.

Jessica has the ability to gracefully pull off almost anything on the red carpet. The structured ivory RM by Roland Mouret Artemis long sleeve dress she wore to the Decades Denim Launch Party back in November 2010 is a prime example. A pair of Brian Atwood’s now infamous Maniac pumps and a Stella McCartney clutch completed the look. At the Hollywood premiere of Somewhere the following month, Jessica went with a low-cut Louis Vuitton Spring 2011 floral print dress. She accessorized with green Brian Atwood pumps and a Louis Vuitton clutch.

The Berlin International Film Festival premiere of Coriolanus this past February saw the star draped in a sensational Herve L. Leroux Couture number. The one-shoulder burgundy gown included a long sash. Never afraid to wear red, the redhead looked fantastic at The Tree of Life photocall during the 2011 Cannes International Film Festival in May decked out in Oscar de la Renta. Her scarlet silk crinkle chiffon embroidered Pre-Fall 2011 dress was combined with a leather corset bombayed belt along with nude Brian Atwood Debra Due slingbacks and House of Lavande earrings.

For the film's festival showing, Jessica opted for a different bold color with this bright yellow Zac Posen Couture gown. Louis Vuitton High Jewelry polished off her look. The Tree of Life also had a Los Angeles premiere later that month where Jessica shined in this green Roland Mouret one-shoulder gown with chartreuse accent. She rounded out the look with Jack Vartanian gems.

It was another Oscar de la Renta for the world premiere of The Help in Beverly Hills in August. The plum crinkle silk chiffon strapless sweetheart neckline gown came from the designer's Fall 2011 collection and was teamed with Sutra jewelry as well as Jimmy Choo Sierra sandals. The multi-nominated actress already won the Outstanding Artistic Achievement Award at the 2011 GUCCI Award For Women In Cinema this September in Venice, Italy. Jessica naturally donned Gucci for the occasion with her Resort 2012 black georgette satin gown featuring a black and gold floral shoulder accent. Her satin heels also included flower details and her jewels were by Bulgari.

Carolina Herrera's persimmon cotton dress was Jessica's pick for the Wilde Salome photocall at the 68th Venice Film Festival a couple of days later. Nude Brian Atwood pumps once again finished off the look. The star chose a daring strapless gold lame Vivienne Westwood bustier dress for the UK unveiling of The Debt later that month. She styled the surprising choice with Jimmy Choo Koko platforms and House of Lavande chandelier earrings.
