Nina Dobrev has developed quite a fan base thanks to her role on The Vampire Diaries, but her recent red carpet outings have earned the actress an even bigger following. In addition to all her fashionable appearances and her popular TV show, Nina will also soon be appearing in The Perks of Being a Wallflower with Emma Watson.

The young star looked great accepting her award for Favorite TV Drama Actress at the People's Choice Awards in a kelly green Elie Saab lace sleeve dress. She finished off the look with Elie Saab sandals, a Lauren Merkin clutch, and J. Maderne jewelry. Nina actually has some experience when it comes to the red carpet at awards shows. At the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards back in August 2010 she donned this one-shoulder Zuhair Murad Fall 2010 Couture gown with lace beaded insets. It was a white Dolce & Gabbana for the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April of last year. A Chopard diamond necklace polished off the elegant look. Her Jay Godfrey Summers color block dress was a more playful selection for the 2011 CW Upfront Presentation in New York City last May.

When it came time for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles the following month, Nina made a statement decked out in this ruby and bronze bow embroidered strapless dress from the Georges Chakra Fall 2010 Couture collection. She accessorized with a pair of Cole Haan heels. It was another couture creation from the designer’s Fall 2010 collection for the 22nd Annual MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto later that month. Nina's version of this iridescent emerald green strapless dress with asymmetric bow was shortened from the runway. Aldo's Kochler pumps in bone completed the look.

Nina's summery Dolce & Gabbana gingham tank dress was a perfect fit for the Teen Choice Awards 2011 last August. Her white clutch was also by Dolce & Gabbana, while Salvatore Ferragamo was behind those navy satin pumps. Ippolita jewelry completed the fresh look.

Nina literally wowed everyone at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards in September courtesy of this dramatic Donna Karan Resort 2012 red strapless number. She styled the stunning gown with Neil Lane gems, a clutch by Judith Leiber and Brian Atwood heels. For The Ripple Effect Benefiting The Water Project Charity in Los Angeles last month, Nina went with another lacy black selection in the form of this Monique Lhuillier Fall 2011 corseted dress. The actress added a pop of color via her bright pink Brian Atwood Maniac pumps. She also carried a Rene Caovilla black Swarovski crystal clutch and wore Neil Lane jewelry.
