Elizabeth Banks has never really been signaled out for her fashion sense, but she’s been impressing lately on the red carpet. The busy actress stylishly mixed it up while out promoting her latest movie, Man on a Ledge. She’ll have even more opportunities to show off since she has several movies coming out this year, including The Hunger Games and What to Expect When You’re Expecting.

Late last month at the star’s Los Angeles premiere for her current film, she styled this embellished Emilio Pucci mini with Christian Louboutin Lady Max sandals. Elizabeth completed the look with a Jimmy Choo Tube clutch and House of Lavande jewels. She also was a standout at the New York City screening the week before in Versace. Her Spring 2012 one shoulder black number featured gold stud details and was combined with H. Stern earrings as well as an Ippolita ring.

Until recently, Elizabeth's style has been a bit more hit or miss. At the September 2009 Los Angeles showing of Surrogates, her silver Farah Angsana Fall 2009 dress had beaded cap sleeves and a coordinating bow belt, but still seemed a little lackluster. Black bow heels and a darker mane rounded out the look. Elizabeth was back in top form for the Cannes International Film Festival 2010 premiere of Poetry in May of that year. Georges Chakra’s Spring 2010 Couture ombre gown was partnered with Chopard jewels, a gold Salvatore Ferragamo clutch along with nude peep-toes.

She also attended amfAR's Cinema Against AIDS Gala at the annual festival. The star's overly ornate Atelier Versace Fall 2009 pink mermaid halter gown was teamed with a metallic clutch. At a special screening of The Next Three Days in New York City in November 2010, Elizabeth opted for a striking black Versace Spring 2011 creation with cut out accents. Versace's double platform sandals and Stephen Russell jewelry served as accessories.

When it came time for last year's Met Gala, the actress shined in a shimmering gold sequin Tommy Hilfiger gown. Elizabeth polished off the glamorous look with gems by Lorraine Schwartz, a Judith Leiber Figure Eight clutch and Jimmy Choo shoes. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge held the BAFTA Brits to Watch Gala in July when the couple visited Los Angeles. Elizabeth once again chose Versace for the event and her Fall 2011 one shoulder white gown with gold buttons was complemented by a Versace clutch and shoes, while her jewels were by Neil Lane.

J. Mendel's red leather dress was Elizabeth's selection for the Teen Choice Awards 2011 this past August. She kept the accessories on the neutral side, including her platform peep-toes and that Edie Parker Nude Lara clutch. She experimented with the colorblock trend at the Los Angeles premiere of Our Idiot Brother later that month. This Prada dress with embellished neckline had black and pink front panels as well as grey and mint green panels on the back. Elizabeth accessorized with Irene Neuwirth jewels and a pink Prada clutch.
