The brand, catering to both men and women and already beloved by the French and those in-the-know, recently hopped across the pond to open its first U.S. outpost in the West Village neighborhood of the Big Apple. Naturally, a fete to celebrate the occasion was in order.
Last Tuesday, as the fashion set started to flock to town for Fashion Week, the Sandro opening was the place to be. Hosted by creative director Evelyne Chetrite and model Dree Hemingway, who also recently designed a capsule collection for the brand, the event attracted the likes of celebrities such as Bridesmaids star Rose Byrne, Gossip Girl‘s Penn Badgley with girlfriend Zoe Kravitz in tow, and reality-star Brad Goreski. As DJ, Harley Viera-Newton spun tunes, the lively crowd snacked on beef carpaccio, eyed-up their favorite pieces, and chattered on excitedly about the upcoming shows. Party time indeed.
