But Rihanna, who was in London to celebrate her birthday, wasn’t the only one partying with Stella. “Wow. WOW. #WOW The world’s most glamorous flash mob (Amber, Shalom, Yasmin…) just took over Stella’s dinner. Fashion history was just made,” tweeted Derek Blasberg.
Derek Blasberg, whose fashion entourage never fails to include top supermodels, celebrities, and stylists, kept the twitter-verse afloat through all of his #LFW happenings. Derek’s tweets ranged from the hottest shows, “All the coolest girls of London, and the prime minister’s wife too, were openly drooling at Christopher Kane, and for good reason! #LFW,” to his tete-a-tete with celebs, “@Burberry has started! And breaking news: the scrunchie is back! But as @KateBosworth just pointed out, they’re best worn as belts now. #LFW.”
@KateBosworth, who attended the Burberry show with boyfriend, director Michael Polish, tweeted, “Here’s looking at you Christopher Bailey! Just. Gorgeous. xx @Burberry.” Kate wasn’t the only famous face sitting front row at Burberry. The 29-year-old actress was accompanied by actress Rosie-Huntington-Whiteley, fashionista Alexa Chung, and Anna Wintour.
W Magazine’s Fashion Director Edward Enninful had more than just fashion to celebrate. “Its my birthday party…xoxo,” he tweeted. Super model @Lily_Donaldon_ tweeted him back, “Happy birthday my darling Edwina!! X.” The festivities however did not end with a line of twitter love. @DerekBlasberg tweeted soon after, “Just left the birthday boy in his bed with Kate, Naomi, Amber, Shalom and Kristen… (No really!) Feel the love.”
One of the most celeb-attended shows during #LFW has to be @Mulberry_Editor. The star-studded front row included, “Michelle Williams, Lana del Ray, Bill Nighy, Downton Abbey‘s Michelle Dockery +Laura Carmichael, and Anna Wintour,” tweeted theTelegraph‘s @HilaryAlexander. Not only does @LanaDelRey have a @Mulberry_Editor bag named after her, she also performed for its #LFW dinner. Women’s Wear Daily tweeted, “Lana Del Rey wraps up set at Mulberry dinner with ‘million dollar man’. Crowd thinks she’s sweet.”
London Blogger, @susiebubble tweeted about one of the most exciting shows presenting during #LFW. “Back out front of @WorldMcQueen #McQLIVE show…. The clothes are amazing…. Cant quite contain excitement.” Derek Blasberg agreed, tweeting, “Another line that was much talked about: Wow, that McQ show was just magical. It was the first time the line showed and it was directional, conceptual and innovative. And wearable!”
