It may be time for April showers, but spring is in the air and pastel pants, tops, and accessories are all over stylish celebs. Pairing pastels may sound prim, but with the right embellished fabrics, denim, and color blocked pieces, head-to-toe pastels are dreamy and feminine. We’ve picked three celeb looks that start with a similar pair of pastel pink pants but head in three chic directions. Don’t have a stylist? Let Laura Bailey, Sami Gayle, and Jessica Alba show you how to style pastels for spring.
Tip #1: Embellished sheer fabrics are pretty with pastels.

Laura Bailey’s pastel ensemble didn’t fade into the background at London Fashion Week. The model mixed designer pieces in soft shades, from her white Balenciaga cardigan and shell pink Sessun pleated pants to her wooden Miu Miu sandals and rosy clutch by Radley Goldington. The stand-out element was her sheer, embellished Christopher Kane top—worn with darker pieces, the bedazzled shirt would’ve been glitzy, but her pastel look softens it to just the right amount of sparkle.

TFS tipped you off on how to choose pastel denim—now take a cue from tastemaker Jessica Alba. The actress was spotted in West Hollywood in a totally 80s but totally fresh look. Her salmon-colored jeans, slick and strong-shouldered heather jacket, Alexander Wang buckled ankle boots and angular white wayfarer sunglasses showed how stylishly pastels and light grey shades can work together.

The actress wore the designer head-to-toe, in a robin’s egg blue jacket with an embroidered collar, cotton candy trousers, and rose gold pumps. She tied the separates together with a belt and a pearl chain.
