Kate Middleton: Two Days, Three Stunning Outfits

Before their romantic getaway, however, there has been plenty of work for the pair to do this week, including three public appearances together in just two days. We can imagine the burning question upon your lips: what did Kate wear? Let’s take a look.

On Wednesday night, the cute couple graced the red carpet of the African Cats UK premiere in central London, and it seems that Kate wasn’t prepared to let those April showers ruin her glossy locks, as Prince William dotingly sheltered her with an umbrella. Now that’s a true gentleman! The film actually aims to raise awareness of Africa’s wild cats, and the couple was in attendance due to the fact that William has been a Royal patron of the Tusk Trust conservation charity for several years. For the occasion, Kate whipped out a Matthew Williamson look with turquoise embellishment around the neck and sleeves. An almost African-inspired embellishment some would say! She chose a pair of Kiki McDonough topaz and diamond earrings which matched the embellishment perfectly, and completed the look with a clutch and heels from Emmy Shoes.

On Thursday afternoon, Kate opted for one of Rebecca Taylor’s blue tweed skirted twin sets for the more formal gathering at London’s Goldsmith’s Hall which honoured the Scott-Amundsen Centenary Race to the South Pole. Once more, she opted for a clutch, and this time it was one of Anya Hindmarch Marano’s designs.

Their final joint royal appointment of the week saw the couple attend a reception debuting the First World War Galleries: Centenary Campaign at London’s Imperial War Museum. Again, Kate shone in a grey Amanda Wakeley dress which she accessorised with a gold belt, black Jimmy Choo heels, and a pair of Cassandra Goad’s Temple of Heaven 9ct yellow gold Girandole earrings. Plus, she steered away from her usual trademark flowing locks, and instead opted for a bouffant. How can one person always look so flawless?
