NYFW Newcomer Katie Holmes Adds Cosmetics Model to Her Growing Fashion Resume

Elie Saab‘s Fall 2011 Couture sapphire blue strapless chiffon embellished gown with velvet waistband helped Katie make quite an impression at the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in February. She accessorized with an ivory Lanvin minaudière. Katie ran errands in New York City earlier this summer decked out in a colorful casual ensemble. She wore a green printed cami from the Gap with her line’s orchid pleated skirt.

While Holmes & Yang’s first fashion week collection garnered mixed reviews with its assortment of complementary go-to pieces, there’s no denying that Katie’s sophisticated style deserves some praise.
