They created a music video for an Alice + Olivia lookbook and DJ’d a Richie Rich show during Fashion Week, but beyond their music, they’re fashion eye candy as well. Moretti and Moe took in the show at Deisel Black Gold this past NYFW, wearing Solange Knowles-approved multi-prints and stacked ankle booties. They displayed their street style outside the tents, Moretti making an entrance in a Probagrom fur vest over a sunny Marni dress while Moe took a more punky approach in an 80s-influenced Maura Hofffman ensemble.

Their fearless fashion sense has led to non-musical fashion collaborations as well. Moretti recently put her head together with Christina Minasian to create the Mia Moretti x Pencey collection, which teems with exotic prints inspired by iconic women like Josephine Baker and Eva Peron. The Dolls also recently rolled out a Shop Our Closet feature on Refinery 29, which includes some of their favorite drool-worthy pieces by brands like Opening Ceremony, Topshop and Marc Jacobs. They’re inseparable on the red carpet at A-list fashion events like the amfAR Inspiration Miami Beach party where they were twins in dreamy coordinated looks of peachy chiffon with robin’s egg blue accents and metallic sandals. Performing at Bulgari’s celebration of Elizabeth Taylor’s jewelry, Moretti went geometric in a Mondrian-esque dress and two-toned heels. Moe channeled vintage feminity with roses and her ever-present flowered hair piece, but added an edge with a swipe of vampy lipstick.

It’s clear that the pair are huge influences on one another’s style—at the premiere of Can I Make the Music Fly? Moe carried the gold accordion handbag that Moretti used at the amfAR event, while Moretti borrowed her gal pal’s rosebud headpiece at an Alice + Olivia presentation. It’s this free-spirited element of fun that makes the pair’s style so appealing, whether that’s translated in a pair of chunky shoes with a girlish dress or a metallic accesory thrown in to lighten up a prim and proper piece. As Moretti told the NY Daily News, “We’re pretty open-minded. We’re willing to wear anything. I’d much rather wear something crazy than something ordinary. I’d rather walk out naked than in something boring.”
