What do you do when you put together a pretty face, some facial scruff (sign of the times), combed locks and a suit? For the purposes of this article, you get a group of the hottest actors walking the Hollywood red carpets. A trend in producing big budget action movies means big budget action stars who, muses bless their soul, hit the gym hard, making their eye candy status as dreamlike as their careers. While most of these gents are up-and-comers, a few tried and true hits are included here, too. They're the guys whose prime is yet to come or just hitting their stride as they reach full grown man status. That is to say, they're well out of their twenties. Either way, we'd love to sit across the dinner table from any one of these handsome men. What about you?
Once upon a time I was watching a pretty run-of-the-mill summer blockbuster when this guy walked on the scene without his shirt on. My celeb-loving world changed. Brad — who? Leo — what? Thor is now the apple of my "hottest guys ever" eye.
Oh, to be Kirsten Dunst (Hedlund's current squeeze). The rest of us, we'll have to wait to see him in the sequel to TRON: Legacy and rent On The Road in the meantime.
Joseph Gordon Levitt
I'm not going to admit to remembering a child Gordon Levitt on a weeknight sitcom about aliens. What I will admit to is how well he's grown up. He's a rarity in Hollywood, the child actor who etched out an enviable career as a main man. He's made notable appearances in six films in the last two years and has projects coming out in 2013 and 14, too. Gotta love a man who works hard at his dreams.

Craig isn't the type of guy you might normally pick out of a crowd as ideal fantasy date. What he lacks in pretty boy looks, he more than makes up for with the timbre of his voice, the sound of his British accent and the way he moves. Not convinced? Then you haven't been watching his Bond flicks.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers
Jonathan is yet another import from Ireland. And his looks are striking. He's had a few dates with rehab in the past but has been working hard in 2013 on films and TV series. If you want to see him shine, watch him as King Henry VIII in The Tudors on Netflix. As it happens the man who plays his bestie on the show is also on this list.
James is still slightly under the radar. We've seen him in X-Men: First Class but he likes to choose gritty and intellectual roles that allow him to use his acting chops. And we're not complaining. He's not letting his romantic looks stop him from a serious career.
This summer you might have seen Henry play Superman on the big screen. And you've probably seen pap pics of him walking around in LA. Did you know he's a Brit? And that he's the best friend I spoke of, playing opposite Rhys Meyers in The Tudors? Now you do.
Fans of the series Sons of Anarchy will recognize Charlie Hunnam. For those of us who don't follow, he was in this summer's Pacific Rim doing quite a good turn as a good guy with family demons who fights real (alien) demons that access our world through the deep sea. Tale as old as time.
Did you know Tom Hardy means "Tough Guy" in the language of lust? It does. You did NOT see Tom in The Dark Knight Rises. You saw his body covered in clothes and his face covered in a mask while he played the villain Bane. See more of him in The Warrior, another flick you can watch as soon as you make it home tonight on Netflix.
Eddie's adorable. The kind of guy who looks like he wouldn't break a heart in a million years. And he's usually playing some iteration of that type in character. Keep an eye out for him and watch those sweet boyish looks turn smoldering as he gets older.

An Irish brogue, dark features and a stare that can make a girl think all kinds of things she shouldn't all belong to Colin Farrell. Colin made a reappearance from a Hollywood absence in last year's Total Recall. While the movie wasn't a smash hit, Farrell has three films in post-production and is currently filming a fourth as I write this. Here's hoping we'll be seeing more of him, soon.

Robert Downey Jr.
RDJ had it rough the first fifteen years of his career, no doubt. He was to the 90s what Lohan has been to the aughts. After cleaning up his act and making a comeback as a guest on Ally McBeal, his star status was cemented with a superhero turn. And we're so glad. What a handsome, responsible man Mr. Downey's become. Sort of wish him and SJP would have been able to make it work. Now THAT would have been an amazing couple.
