October was a supremely fashionable month for Fearne Cotton. With that famous chill hovering in the air over in London, the British radio and TV personality has uncovered some truly chic ways to bundle up. She appears to have mastered the layered look and simultaneously inspired us to pick up almost every piece of each outfit. Here's a look back at some of Fearne's standout ensembles from last month.
Fearne has been collaborating with the British brand Very for a few seasons now and has managed to put out some very stylish as well as affordable options. Proving she's her own best spokesperson, the multifaceted star headed to work decked out in this black and white knitted poncho style cape with detachable faux fur collar complemented by a teal bag, gray boots and a black hat.
Into the Mix
Fearne never shies away from prints and loves to pile on several at once. Just look at how she combined an embellished paisley scarf and blue patterned PJ-style pants with a belted oversized blue sweater, suede boots as well as Linda Farrow for The Row Acetate Lennon sunglasses.
Pretty in Pink
This marled knit slouchy polo neck sweater is another piece from Fearne and Very. A pair of patchwork jeans, a bright pink beanie and black buckle boots wrapped up the look.
One of the reasons we're fans of Fearne's style is her ability to reuse and repurpose items while still making every outfit look fresh. She once again slipped on these Linda Farrow for The Row tortoise shell glasses on her way into the studio and added in an amazing wide-cut natural white H&M short coat in imitation sheepskin, rolled jeans and tan suede boots.
Fearne even found a way to make overalls fashionable. She teamed the 90s staple with a leopard print top, a multi-strand gold necklace, a structured black jacket, gray patterned socks and black platform sandals.
She certainly appreciates a good fashion flashback. Fearne gave a stylish shout-out to the 90s in this Very leaf print drop waist dress partnered with a black Topshop cardigan, Alexander McQueen boots and a Mulberry bag.
It was Fearne's gray sweater with gold buttons and fuzzy accents that pulled this look together. She accessorized with a pale pink bag and black boots.
Fearne clearly loves a cool coat and this cream-colored Unreal Fur faux fur version with black trim is a prime example. She styled the luxe piece with a black knit top, skinny jeans, buckled booties and those same tortoise shell shades.
There was something slightly seaworthy about the star's compilation of her own striped sparkle skirt dress, an army green parka, a gray cardigan, black tights and that same pink beanie. Acne Studios Alma leopard print pony hair ankle boots capped off the look.
Her prim and proper layered look on this day consisted of a collared blouse peaking out from under a black sweater and gray coat. Fearne took the ensemble past standard preppy by artfully accessorizing with a pendant necklace, a subtle leopard print bag and wine-colored boots.
Fearne doesn’t take herself too seriously, so this graphic ghost sweater was a perfect cold weather pick for the on-air personality. Cuffed jeans, those same rich boots and her favorite leopard print bag completed the look.
Never one to be overly monochromatic, Fearne takes pleasure in contrasting bright colors. She recently paired this blue textured coat with that favored pink slouchy beanie along with patchwork jeans and black boots.
With all the new ways to wear tartan patterns, Fearne relied on a pretty basic method courtesy of this pair of red and black shorts. What really transformed the look, though, was the addition of that black jacket, a chevron fringed statement necklace, black tights and her studded black bag.
Everyone makes fun of those eclectic holiday sweaters, but Fearne's pumpkin-accented cardigan became surprisingly stylish when it was covered by that draped black coat. She concluded the Halloween look with a suede top handle bag and strappy black platform pumps.
