Celebs representing the worlds of film and TV stylishly commingled out in Los Angeles for this year’s 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. Several stars were feeling blue on the red carpet favoring everything from darker shades of midnight all the way down the color spectrum to turquoise. Cut-outs were kept to a surprising minimum, but other trends still permeated, including sheer accents and strategic netting. Strapless, halter, plunging and embellished necklines all shared equal time in the spotlight. Here’s a recap of the night’s noteworthy fashions.
Amy made an electric statement on the red carpet in a blue Antonio Berardi gown featuring a cut-out shoulder detail and embellished waistband. Cartier gems and Jimmy Choo Vibe peep-toe pumps polished off the look.
Lupita looked stunning in a custom turquoise Gucci silk crepe gown with exquisite floral embroidered neckline. Fred Leighton jewels and Christian Louboutin Vendome pumps served as accessories.
It was a Christian Dior Fall 2013 Couture gown with colorful sequins for Jennifer at the awards. Jennifer Meyer earrings and black satin Brian Atwood Tribeca platform sandals rounded out the look.
Givenchy was the source of Cate’s pale pink Spring 2014 draped gown with embellished halter neckline. Chopard jewelry and a pair of Roger Vivier sandals wrapped up the look.
The nominee hit the red carpet in a custom metallic green strapless Lanvin gown. Sandra accessorized with a gold Fred Leighton bangle, a Roger Vivier Boite de Nuit clutch and silver Jimmy Choo Valetta sandals.
Emilia stood out in a custom Calvin Klein Collection rose gold one shoulder gown. Pomellato gems, a Rauwolf clutch and Roger Vivier shoes completed the look.
J. Mendel’s tuxedo-inspired gown with plunging neckline was Michelle’s pick for the ceremony. David Yurman jewels, a white clutch and Gianvito Rossi Alina pumps finished off the look.
Claire’s sparkling Vionnet sleeveless gown included embroidered panels and tulle sections. The Homeland actress concluded the look with Forevermark Diamonds jewelry and Jimmy Choo Lance sandals.

Isla went old school on the red carpet decked out in an Oscar de la Renta gown. A colorful Bulgari bracelet, a Salvatore Ferragamo box clutch and Christian Louboutin footwear polished off the look.
