Summer brings to mind fashion that’s fresh and light, but lately celebs have been wearing a trend that shows the darker side of summer. Ahna O’Reilly, Joely Richardson, Poppy Delevingne, Diane Kruger and more of your favorite tastemakers aren’t afraid to go against the seasonal style rules and wear moody dresses with floral patterns on black backgrounds. Though these dark blooms would seem more appropriate for autumn or winter, stars are styling their dusky florals with summer’s strappy sandals and dewy makeup for a look that’s as refreshing as a night-blooming jasmine.
