Beyoncé and Bella Hadid in Givenchy
All eyes were definitely on Beyoncé as she picked up her Fashion Icon Award at the CFDA Fashion Awards thanks in part to her sparkling Givenchy suit. The stylish star polished things off with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry worth millions of dollars, a black shirt and an oversized hat. Bella also shined in the glitzy ensemble at the de Grisogono party during the Cannes International Film Festival. The model worked in a fringed silver top and black sandals to wrap up the look. Both ladies opted to jazz up their jacket and pants with even more bling, so who rocked Givenchy best?

Jenna Coleman and Jennifer Connelly in Louis Vuitton
It may have been the V&A Summer Party, but Jenna was clearly in a fall state of mind in this leather-accented Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2015 patterned dress. The actress accessorized with a textured clutch and black strappy platform sandals. Jennifer favored the same graphic creation just in a shorter format when she attended the Aloft Madrid premiere. She finished off her look with a black clutch and shiny black booties. Are you partial to Jenna’s lookbook length or Jennifer’s leggier presentation?

Kourtney Kardashian and Lily James in Erdem
Off-the-shoulder crop tops have been popping up everywhere, so we weren’t surprised to see Kourtney decked out in this striped Erdem incarnation at a photocall for Manuka Doctor. A black choker, black pants and matching pumps balanced out the look. Lily also embraced the trend at the London premiere of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but she paired her top with the brand’s coordinating layered maxi skirt. Black pumps capped off the look. Do you think Kourtney made the right call by shunning the matching set or did Lily’s complementary outfit make a bigger sartorial statement?

Suzanne Somers, Mariah Carey, Alessandra Ambrosio and Beyoncé in Balmain
It’s no secret that celebs love Balmain (#BalmainArmy). But it’s the sheer array of famous faces that favor the brand that is still somewhat surprising. Take the flashy minidress Suzanne sported to the Television Academy’s 70th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles. She accessorized with a complementary clutch and golden pumps. Mariah also showed her stripes in the fierce creation at the 2016 NBCUniversal Upfront Presentation in New York City. Oversized shades, fishnet stockings and black peep-toe platforms wrapped up the look. Alessandra celebrated her birthday in style in the plunging piece. The model added in a choker, a small clutch and strappy gold sandals. Last and certainly not least, Beyoncé struck a pose in the animal print minidress at the 75th Anniversary Center for Early Education Grand Gala. Fishnets and black ankle-strap sandals finished off the outfit. Which diva rocked Balmain best?
Amal Clooney and Hailee Steinfeld in Monse
Amal hit the streets of Rome in a striped Monse Fall 2016 wrapped sleeve dress alongside hubby George Clooney. A metallic clutch and coordinating pumps polished off the look. Several days earlier, Hailee attended the Swarovski #bebrilliant event in the same patterned piece. The actress and singer teamed her dress with a glitzy bracelet plus two-tone ankle-strap sandals. Do you prefer Amal’s off-the-shoulder take or Hailee’s more covered-up approach?

Irina Shayk and Kourtney Kardashian in Versace
While Versace’s Fall 2016 ad campaign dialed down the sex appeal, the fashion house’s Spring 2016 collection vamped things up per usual. Case in point, the brand’s feisty camouflage-print stretch-canvas minidress, which Irina selected for the Sirin Labs Solarin launch over in London. Vibrant green suede sandals capped off the look. Kourtney slipped on the open-back dress for Scott Disick's 33rd birthday at 1 OAK Las Vegas a few days prior. Large hoop earrings and black fringed Alaïa sandals rounded out the ensemble. Whose bold footwear provided a bigger kick?

Saoirse Ronan and Amber Heard in Temperley London
Saoirse has been flexing her fashion muscle lately as she makes the award show rounds. The Oscar-nominated actress dazzled in a brilliant Temperley London Spring 2016 beaded jumpsuit capped off by rose gold platform sandals at a session of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Conversations program. Amber also shined in the metallic one-piece back in November at last year’s Hollywood Film Awards. She polished off her look with a pair of Jimmy Choo Cardinal pumps. Whose flashy footwear added the right amount of kick?
Nicola Peltz and Rihanna in Tom Ford
There were several looks presented as part of Tom Ford’s Spring 2015 collection that we were pretty sure we’d never see on the red carpet, let alone twice. But clearly we were wrong about this white cut-out dress with embellished cups since Nicola slipped on the revealing creation to celebrate her 21st birthday. Rihanna also rocked the eye-catching dress in October 2014 at the amfAR Inspiration Gala Los Angeles. Paying homage to the original styling, the singer worked in the white collar, black sheer thigh-highs and purple ankle-strap sandals. Do you prefer Rihanna’s true-to-the-runway take or Nicola’s more stripped-down interpretation?
Images: @nicolaannepeltz, FayesVision/WENN.com
Jessica Simpson and Gisele Bündchen in Monique Lhuillier
Monique Lhuillier’s Fall 2015 offering was ripe with guipure lace and her deep plum dresses have proven popular with the celeb set. Jessica opted for the sleeveless version when she attended the YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund Geoffrey Beene National Scholarship Awards Dinner in New York City earlier this month. Jacquie Aiche jewelry, a Charlotte Olympia clutch and strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals wrapped up the outfit. Gisele sported the long-sleeve sheath dress in September at the 2015 United Nations’ Champions of the Earth Awards Ceremony. The supermodel accessorized with a metallic clutch and ankle-strap sandals. Both ladies went with neutral sandals, so do you like this lacy dress better with or without sleeves?
Images: Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com, Getty
Jennifer Lopez and Gigi Hadid in Michael Kors
Jennifer paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night outfitted in a gold sequin jumpsuit by Michael Kors. Her accessories included gold jewels and corresponding platform sandals. We instantly recognized the dazzling one-piece since Gigi made an impression in the glittering creation at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards in June. Michael Kors also supplied those Jacqueline sandals and that metallic clutch, while the model’s jewelry came from Atelier Swarovski. Jennifer worked in a gold belt while Gigi took a more streamlined approach, so who shined brighter in the splashy jumpsuit?
Images: Getty, Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com
Miranda Kerr, Bella Thorne and Maisie Williams in Self-Portrait
Self-Portrait continues to gain favor with celebs. Case in point, Miranda sported the brand’s Azaelea A-line guipure lace dress with sheer illusion last month at Westfield Bondi Junction in Sydney while promoting her KORA Organics product line. Swarovski gems and nude pumps punctuated the look. But the Aussie model wasn’t the first to step out in the delicate creation. Bella headed to the Today Show in late June decked out in the same scalloped hem dress. Gold bracelets and coordinating white ankle-strap sandals wrapped up the outfit. The pretty piece first caught our eye back in January when Maisie wore the red version to the 2015 SAG Awards. Gold pumps capped off the Game of Thrones star’s look. Does this dress really pop in pale yellow, crisp white or the more fiery shade?

Kimberly Perry and Rita Ora in Cushnie et Ochs
Bubblegum pink is a hard hue to pull off, but that didn’t stop two singers from trying their best with this bright Cushnie et Ochs set. Kimberly slipped on the Resort 2016 stretch cady bra top with fabric overlay detail and the matching high-waisted trousers for the 2015 Miss Universe Pageant in Las Vegas. Rita also rocked the two-piece ensemble in Las Vegas, just in September for the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival. Iridescent pumps and a pink lip polished off the look. Are you turned off by the length of Rita’s pants or should Kimberly have opted for a bold lip color to make a bigger statement?

Rachel Platten and Laverne Cox in Alice + Olivia
The only way to ring in the new year is in sparkling lamé, right? At least that was Rachel’s mindset as the singer performed for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2016 in Alice + Olivia’s Fall 2015 Katz pleated maxi skirt topped off by the brand’s black Clea crop top. Laverne selected the same shimmering skirt for The House of Rémy Martin One Life/Live Them launch in October. She completed the look with a black halter top, a complementary clutch, gold jewelry and embellished pumps. Did Laverne add too many luxe accents or was Rachel’s crop top pairing too understated for New Year’s Eve?
Olivia Palermo and Gigi Hadid in Self-Portrait
Neutrals can pack a sartorial punch just as much as vivid colors with the right canvas. Self-Portrait’s long-sleeve crepe military maxi dress is a good study in how to embrace a more muted tone and two trendsetters recently rocked the piece. Olivia slipped on the nude dress for the opening of Audemars Piguet on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Brown pumps punctuated the look. One day prior, Gigi was captured in Manhattan to film an appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Michael decked out in the Resort 2016 creation layered under a Topshop cashmere blend wrap coat in a similar color story. Complementary Kurt Geiger London Britton pumps capped off the outfit. Should Olivia have amped up her dress with some standout accessories or did Gigi overdo it with all her monochrome accents?
Images: Brian To/WENN.com, Getty
La La Anthony and Charlize Theron in Tom Ford
Nothing says the holidays like a sequin dress. Perhaps that’s why La La opted for Tom Ford’s rose gold tulle version for the New York premiere of Chi-Raq. Coordinating ankle-strap sandals polished off the look. Charlize also shined in the flashy dress back in late October while promoting a real estate project in Hong Kong. The actress accessorized with a metallic clutch and black sandals. Was La La’s look too matchy-matchy or should Charlize have stuck with the metallic theme and skipped the black sandals?
Images: C.Smith/ WENN.com, Getty
Laura Carmichael and Rowan Blanchard in Christopher Kane
Christopher Kane’s colorful silhouette dresses have proven popular with celebs. Laura just sported one to the 2015 Moët British Independent Film Awards teamed with a set of black sandals. Rowan wore the same velvet dress in early October for Teen Vogue’s annual Young Hollywood Party. The Girl Meets World star added in a black M2Malletier leather backpack and black Chelsea boots to round out her look. Are you feeling Rowan’s more mod styling or do you favor Laura’s straightforward approach?
Nicki Minaj and Jada Pinkett Smith in Balmain
This Balmain glass beaded minidress has plenty of fringe benefits. Nicki sported the Pre-Fall 2015 embellished velvet piece as she took to the stage for Shining A Light: A Concert for Progress on Race in America. The rapper capped off the luxe look with lace-up knee-high boots. Jada fittingly rocked the same brilliant creation at Olivier Rousteing’s 30th birthday party back in October. Basic black Saint Laurent ankle-strap sandals wrapped up the outfit. Whose shoes provided a bigger finishing kick?
Corinne Bailey Rae and Léa Seydoux in Miu Miu
Miu Miu is known for being fairly graphic and colorful, so it’s not surprising that the fashion house would craft this eye-catching swallow print for its Resort 2016 line. Corinne certainly stood out at the 2015 Mercury Prize ceremony in London thanks to her bold black dress featuring a red swallow print and a gold collar. Ornate green and brown sandals polished off the look. Léa struck a pose at the Mexico City photocall for Spectre at the beginning of November in the dynamic dress. She simply added in a pair of metallic ankle-strap sandals. Léa’s version skipped the club stamp from the catwalk, so do you prefer her altered take or Corinne’s more true-to-the-runway presentation?

Louise Roe and Misty Copeland in Zimmermann
The CFDA had a busy November. It celebrated up-and-coming designers with a little help from FORWARD by Elyse Walker at the launch of the Rising Talent Program in Los Angeles. Louise was one of the famous faces at the event decked out in a paisley Zimmermann halter dress boasting mesh inserts on the skirt styled with a draped black leather jacket, a metallic clutch and burgundy furry sandals. Misty also opted for the pretty patterned dress when she attended the 12th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Dinner in New York City earlier in the month. The ballerina rounded out her look with rose gold ankle-strap sandals. Do you like how Louise gave the dress some edge with that moto jacket and fluffy footwear or are you partial to Misty’s streamlined interpretation?
Marion Cotillard and Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior
Two of Dior’s top ambassadors appear to have similar tastes when it comes to the brand’s sweater offerings. Marion attended a Macbeth special screening in London on Sunday decked out in a black and white knit cropped Fall 2015 turtleneck paired with black cropped pants and black oxfords. Jennifer was captured promoting her movie Serena in March outfitted in the same graphic sweater. A black skirt and basic black pumps finished off the look. Jennifer copied the runway presentation for the most part while Marion went with a more relaxed spin, so who styled this sweater best?
Selena Gomez and Naomie Harris in Mugler
Proving cut-outs are still trending, Selena rocked this revealing Mugler Spring 2016 minidress at the after-party for this year’s Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Black Jimmy Choo Deckle ankle-strap sandals rounded out the outfit. Naomie sported the designer dress first (albeit with a tad more cut-outs) at the after-party marking the London premiere of Spectre late last month. She accessorized with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. Do you prefer the restrained cut-out placement on Selena’s dress or Naomie’s all-over layout?
Iman and Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell
It wasn’t surprising to see that Iman chose a grand gown for the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. The supermodel struck a pose in Brandon Maxwell’s Spring 2016 black dress with pouffy sleeves. Gold jewelry polished off the look. Gaga also made an impression in the white version of the eye-catching gown at the Fox 2015 Emmy Awards After-Party. Subtle earrings were all it took to complete the look. Which neutral shade really made the extravagant piece pop on the red carpet?
Images: WENN.com, Guillermo Proano/WENN.com
Rachel Roy and Zendaya Coleman in Tamara Mellon
Since Gucci sponsored the annual LACMA Art+Film Gala, most attendees naturally decided to wear looks from the fashion house to the event. Rachel broke from the pack by slipping on this bright blue Tamara Mellon fringed creation, topped off by a luxe black blazer. An embellished clutch and black sandals with flashy buckles wrapped up the ensemble. Zendaya was practically everywhere during Paris Fashion Week Spring 2016. For the Buro 24/7 presentation, the actress and singer also favored the swingy plunging dress, capped off by complementary ankle-strap sandals. Are you more enamored with Zendaya’s coordinated approach or Rachel’s layered look?
Images: FayesVision/WENN.com, Getty
Rita Ora and Kendall Jenner in Balmain x H&M
Even though it was a Halloween Ball, Rita chose to skip the costume for UNICEF’s annual soiree. The singer instead selected a long Balmain x H&M velvet jacket embroidered with beads and rhinestones layered over a fishnet top as well as matching tights, teamed with thigh-high black boots plus pearl-accented braided pigtails. But Kendall got her hands on the glitzy jacket way back in May when she accompanied Olivier Rousteing along with Jourdan Dunn to the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. Slicked-back hair and an extended pair of black boots rounded out her red carpet look. Do you favor Kendall’s more streamlined approach or Rita’s pearl-centric take?
Images: Lia Toby/WENN.com, Judy Eddy/WENN.com
Chanel Iman and Bella Thorne in Balmain
Chanel dropped by the ELLE Style Awards in Sydney last week decked out in a striking coral Balmain Resort 2016 embroidered corset minidress. Dagger earrings and metallic ankle-cuff heels polished off the model’s ensemble. We instantly recognized the colorful strapless piece because Bella sported it to this year’s Teen Choice Awards in August. Lee Savage’s rose gold 180 Stack clutch and Stuart Weitzman sandals wrapped up the look. Are you feeling Chanel’s flashy footwear or Bella’s strappy sandals?
Images: Getty, Brian To/WENN.com
Mia Moretti and Kate Hudson in Valentino
We’re used to seeing Mia clad in retro outfits, especially during Fashion Month, but the DJ extraordinaire surprised us with this ethereal Valentino Spring 2015 one-shoulder gown at the 2015 Fashion Group International Night of Stars Gala in New York City. A deep red lip and a slim textured clutch added a bit of edge. Kate slipped on the same charming printed gown for the People Magazine Awards in December. The actress also carried a Lee Savage gold crack Shift clutch. Whose styling reigned supreme?
Ashley Benson and Karolina Kurkova in Haney
Ashley snagged a spot on our best dressed list last week for her all-black ensemble at the 2015 MTV EMAs over in Milan. Her Haney beaded lace Valerie shift dress with stretch silk slip lining was accented by a draped black BCBGMaxAzria blazer, Jennifer Meyer earrings, a metallic clutch and black ankle-strap sandals. Karolina opted not to cover up the dress when she posed for pics at the IWC Schaffhausen booth during the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva, Switzerland this January. She accessorized with Eva Fehren gems and black Christian Louboutin Pensamoi pumps adorned with a satin flower encrusted with crystals. Did Karolina distract from the dress with all of her sparkly add-ons or should Ashley have let the LBD shine by paring down her look?
Images: IPA/WENN.com, Getty
Amal Clooney and Naomi Campbell in Burberry Prorsum
‘Tis the season for a chic trench and Burberry Prorsum’s velvet suede version certainly fits the bill. Amal stepped out in London wearing the fashion house’s turquoise coat teamed with a gray dress, black tights and embellished shoes. Naomi was also captured outfitted in the ombre double-breasted jacket at LAX back in February. The supermodel punctuated the piece with a black fedora, shades, a black bag and over-the-knee Azzedine Alaïa boots. Do you prefer Amal’s slightly more conservative approach or Naomi’s jet-set style?
Images: WENN.com, Getty
Selena Gomez and Diane Kruger in Roland Mouret
Despite its currently trending details, Roland Mouret’s black cut-out jumpsuit actually hails from the designer’s Spring 2011 collection. Selena performed for the Today Show’s Citi Concert Series in the revealing creation complemented by a metallic choker and black platform boots. Diane sported the structured piece to this year’s Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in May. True to her daring sartorial nature, the actress added in a straw hat, tan shades and white sandals. Are you partial to Selena’s edgy, 90s-inspired take or Diane’s eclectic interpretation?

Alicia Keys, Beth Behrs and Kerry Washington in Alice + Olivia
A party up top and strictly business on the bottom is the best way to describe Alice + Olivia’s Jeri beaded straight leg jumpsuit. Alicia rocked the one-piece at the Harlem School of the Arts 50th Anniversary Gala Kick-Off. She accessorized with diamond jewelry, a black clutch and matching ankle-strap sandals. Just the day before, Beth slipped on the Fall 2015 jumpsuit for The Rape Foundation’s annual brunch in Beverly Hills. The 2 Broke Girls star simply capped off her look with nude pumps. Kerry was the first to shine in the flashy jumpsuit when she promoted Scandal at the 2015 ABC Upfront Presentation in May. Crisscross black pumps polished off the outfit. Whose footwear provided a bigger kick?
Images: Derrick Salters/WENN.com, Getty, Andres Otero/WENN.com
Shay Mitchell and Gabrielle Union in Noam Hanoch
Although Comic-Con down in San Diego is more well-known, New York Comic Con still manages to lure its fair share of stars. Shay visited SiriusXM Studios at the gathering in a black Noam Hanoch jumpsuit with nude off-the-shoulder lace underlay. Black pumps finished off the look. Gabrielle made her mark in the front row at the Engineered for Motion show during New York Fashion Week: Men's in July thanks to the unique jumpsuit. A Boyd clutch by Eddie Borgo and black semi-transparent Bionda Castana Bay pumps completed the ensemble. Should Gabrielle have dialed down her accessories or did Shay fail to excite with those basic black pumps?
Yasmin Le Bon, Olivia Palermo and Louise Redknapp in Preen
Yasmin was hard to miss at this year's Red Women of the Year Awards due to Preen’s Lambert flocked floral print dress. A woven foldover clutch and tan boots further defined the look. Looking to make an impact while launching her new makeup collaboration in Dublin, Olivia opted for the same drop-waist dress. Gold cuffs, a necklace and red Christian Louboutin pumps rounded out the ensemble. Also wanting to stand out, Louise hit the red carpet in the bold dress at the 2015 Pride of Britain Awards in London at the end of last month. Extremely strappy black sandals wrapped up the look. Who styled this embroidered dress best?
Images: Lia Toby/WENN.com, WENN.com, Getty
Chiara Ferragni, Kris Jenner and Gigi Hadid in Balmain
What’s more embarrassing than showing up at an event in the same thing as a fellow attendee? Doing so at one of the major shows during Paris Fashion Week. Chiara arrived at the Balmain Spring 2016 presentation decked out in the fashion house’s colorfully striped cardigan, mimicking the runway styling by pairing it with the matching miniskirt and a black shirt. The blogger extraordinaire accessorized with a black hat and coordinating boots. Unfortunately, Kris also opted to sport the same piece to the show. She layered the striking Fall 2015 sweater over a black bodysuit and polished off the look with a gold fringed necklace, a black clutch as well as black sandals. Beating both to the punch, Gigi struck a pose in the cardigan when Maybelline New York celebrated its 100th anniversary in May. Also deciding to work the striped skirt into the mix, the model capped off her look with basic black pumps. Are you more impressed with Chiara’s matching set and hat, Kris’ flashy necklace plus black bodysuit combo or how Gigi wrapped up the look?
Images: WENN.com, Getty
Sophia Bush and Zendaya Coleman in Self-Portrait
When most people hear the words “denim jumpsuit,” they probably flashback to the 90s. Self-Portrait’s contemporary take tries to dispel that notion by incorporating ruffles, lace and culottes. The one-piece definitely caught Sophia’s eye as she picked the jumpsuit for the Restoration Hardware Chicago opening last week. A graphic Anya Hindmarch clutch and leopard pumps completed the outfit. Zendaya rocked the jumpsuit back in February at the Primary Wave 9th Annual Pre-Grammy Party. Black ankle-strap sandals finished off the look. Were Sophia’s accents too over-the-top or should Zendaya have upped the ante with some eye-catching add-ons?
Claire Danes and Victoria Beckham in Victoria Beckham
For her appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Claire toughened up her red tweed Victoria Beckham Resort 2016 wrap dress by topping it off with a black leather jacket. Neutral heels and an oversized clutch rounded out the ensemble. Victoria was captured out in Chelsea in June wearing her own distinctive creation. Square shades and blue pumps by Manolo Blahnik further defined the look. Did Claire manage to edge out the designer in her own dress?
Mélanie Laurent and Jennifer Lopez in Blumarine
If there was one piece that really stood out from Blumarine’s Fall 2015 collection, it was the label’s striking striped maxi dress. So, we weren’t too surprised that two big names embraced the colorful creation. Mélanie opted for the plunging gown last week when she attended the Ballet National de Paris Opening Season Gala. The French actress simply added in a slim black clutch to wrap up the look. Jennifer had a lot of fun playing with the eye-catching embellished dress backstage at the American Idol XIV Top 5 Revealed show back in April. Oversized hoop earrings and black Gucci sandals polished off the look. Did Jennifer’s lavish accents overshadow the grand gown or were Mélanie’s more subdued accessories not on par with the striped masterpiece?
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Nicki Minaj in Saint Laurent
Bomber jackets are still trending for fall and we’re seeing quite a few celebs decked out in the flashy coats. Rosie strolled through LAX in Saint Laurent’s army green version boasting knitted wool trim teamed with oversized cat-eye shades, a chunky necklace, a gray Isabel Marant tee, black Paige jeans and black peep-toes by Gianvito Rossi. Nicki rocked the same jacket a little over a week prior in Los Angeles. The rapper paired hers with a white top and pants, an array of bold jewelry, a furry two-tone bag plus white Air Jordans. Both ladies took a laid-back approach, so whose styling reigned supreme?
Images: WENN.com, Getty
Harley Viera-Newton and Rihanna in Adam Selman
It takes a lot to stand out in the front row at New York Fashion Week, but Harley succeeded by slipping on this Adam Selman coordinating set at the 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2016 show. The DJ draped the designer’s Bow Knit cardigan over the corresponding Bow Knit Polo dress and capped it all off with black suede pumps. Rihanna rocked the ensemble in March at a New York City event promoting her animated flick Home. She took a more complementary approach with her footwear, working in a pair of bow-accented pumps teamed with black socks. Did RiRi go too matchy-matchy or did Harley fail to excite with those rather basic black pumps?
Camilla Luddington and Nicole Richie in A.L.C.
Before all the red carpet drama on Sunday, Entertainment Weekly celebrated the Emmys with a pre-show bash on Friday night. Camilla attended the party wearing an eye-catching floral LBD by A.L.C. Black ankle strap sandals rounded out the look. Nicole selected the same dress back in June to film a Candidly Nicole segment at The Grove in Los Angeles. Cap-toe Club Monaco pumps punctuated the look. Whose shoes provided a bigger kick?
Images: Brian To/WENN.com, Getty
Gemma Chan and Brit Marling in Louis Vuitton
Quite a few celebs turned up for Louis Vuitton’s Series 3 Exhibition Opening Gala during London Fashion Week. Gemma naturally sported Louis Vuitton to the event, striking a pose in the fashion house’s Pre-Fall 2015 red dress featuring a patterned bodice and a brown turtleneck. She added in a graphic red bag and floral black pumps boasting golden details to complete the outfit. Brit opted for the distinctive dress in March at the brand’s Fall 2015 Paris presentation. The actress accessorized with a black textured bag and patterned boots. Are you more impressed with Gemma’s bold bag and pumps or Brit’s edgy boots?
Images: Daniel Deme/WENN.com, Getty
Pixie Lott and Alessandra Ambrosio in Versus Versace
Pixie stood out at this year’s GQ Men of the Year Awards thanks to a Versus Versace one-shoulder dress with statement-making Greek accents. She kept things pretty monochromatic by working in a black textured clutch and matching ankle-strap sandals plus a little bling in the form of diamond earrings as well as a pearl ring. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen this unique spin on the LBD, though. Alessandra posed back in October in the same distinctive dress for the RIMOWA NYC Store grand opening. The Victoria's Secret Angel completed her look with gold earrings, a metallic clutch by Rauwolf and basic black Versace pumps. Do you prefer Alessandra’s golden touches and black pumps or Pixie’s sparkly flourishes and black sandals?
Images: Daniel Deme/WENN.com, Getty
Demi Lovato and Joan Smalls in House of CB
Demi spent some time in London last week promoting her latest album and she struck a chord decked out in this leatherette House of CB Riko black dress with cut-outs lining the skirt. Black peep-toe booties capped off the edgy look. Joan rocked the longer version of the dress in April at Vanity Fair's 2015 Tribeca Film Festival Party. She wrapped up the look with black crisscross ankle-strap sandals. Both stars went to great lengths to make the dress her own, so are you more enamored with Demi’s short and sassy approach or Joan’s below-the-knee take?
Images: Will Alexander/WENN.com, Ivan Nikolov/WENN.com
Diane Kruger and Emily Ratajkowski in Cushnie et Ochs
As a jury member for this year’s Venice International Film Festival, Diane has already been spotted wearing several killer looks. For the opening dinner, the actress selected a red hot Cushnie et Ochs jumpsuit boasting the brand’s signature cut-outs. She accessorized with a slim metallic clutch and black sandals. Emily opted for the purple version of the Pre-Fall 2015 one-piece when she attended the Vanity Fair and FIAT celebration of Young Hollywood back in February. Lee Savage’s 180 Stack clutch and Brian Atwood silver pumps completed the ensemble. Does this streamlined jumpsuit pop more in deep purple or rich red?
Whitney Cummings and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini in Miu Miu
Whitney was also making the rounds in Venice, striking a pose at the festival in this green patterned Miu Miu crepe mini dress with pink contrasting collar and breast pocket. She finished off the retro look with a pink top handle bag and strappy black embellished sandals. Cheryl sported the same swinging Pre-Fall 2015 dress at the London auditions of The X Factor in late July. The judge worked in a pair of pink Sophia Webster Tyra pumps with lavender heart heels to balance out the look. Did Cheryl have the right idea by trying to coordinate her pumps with the piece’s pink accents or did Whitney make more of an impact by adding in those flashy flats?
Images: KIKA/WENN.com, Lia Toby/WENN.com
Laura Dern and Greta Gerwig in Oscar de la Renta
Tweed doesn’t exactly scream summer, but nonetheless, two stars decided to embrace the cold weather fabric in the form of Oscar de la Renta’s striped A-line skirt. Laura was captured alongside publicist Peggy Siegal at a Los Angeles screening of 99 Homes decked out in the red interpretation of the Fall 2015 skirt, topped off by an ivory blouse with stripped sleeves. A sky blue oversized clutch and red Tamara Mellon Diva Patent pumps wrapped up the look. Greta slipped on the collection’s blue tweed skirt and pansy printed silk-crepe funnel neck blouse last month for a Good Morning America taping. White Aquazzura Forever Marilyn cut-out tassel pumps capped off the outfit. Are you feeling Laura’s double striped look or Greta’s mixed bouquet?
You’d think with more than enough designer options to go around, we’d hardly ever see celebs wearing the same thing as their colleagues. But some stars can’t help but be repeat offenders (although many manage to put their own spin on things) and we frequently find ourselves doing a double, triple or even quadruple take. Find out which pieces were treated to an encore in the slideshow above.
