Watch: Millie Bobby Brown and Paris Jackson Star in Raf Simons’ New Music Video for the xx

Calvin Klein designer Raf Simons, British indie band the xx and photographer and filmmaker Alasdair McLellan teamed up to create a music video that could easily double as a Calvin Klein ad or a coming-of-age movie set in sun-drenched L.A.

Creative directed by Simons, shot by McLellan and released today, the seven-minute-long music video for the xx’s single “I Dare You” stars Stranger ThingsMillie Bobby Brown as a meddling elementary-schooler who convinces (blackmails?) her older sister and her beau into letting her crash their plans to play hooky.

Joined by another teen couple played by model-on-the-rise Paris Jackson and Moonlight’s Ashton Sanders, the group embarks on a slightly spooky adventure. (There’s a haunted house, and Millie Bobby Brown, who’s usually pretty comfortable in creepy locales, breaks down in tears.) It-models Lulu and Ernesto Cervantes also feature. As to be expected, everyone’s decked out in Calvin Klein, and everyone looks damn good.

“This is the third video, our friend, the wonderful Alasdair McLellan has directed for us,” stated the xx in a press release. “He collaborated with a hero of ours, Raf Simons, on the creative concept and direction. It was amazing to work with both of them and such a pleasure to meet and work with Millie, Paris, Ashton, Lulu and Ernesto! Thank you to Calvin Klein and everyone involved. We hope you enjoy watching!”

Per a statement from the American fashion house, Simons, a longtime fan of the xx and McLellan, was eager to be involved: “Seeing a connection between the videos and his own work at Calvin Klein, Simons was pleased to collaborate on the third video of the trilogy, lending his eye to the architectural and atmospheric elements [the video was shot at Lloyd Wright’s Sowden house and John Lautner’s Rainbow House] and utilizing an eclectic cast of Calvin Klein collaborators.”
