Celebrity Hits And Misses

Hit: At the Blue Valentine premier, Michelle Williams looks sweet in this short lace party dress with demure details like poofed three-quarter length sleeves, pockets, and a boat neck.

Her platform cork sandals and cropped platinum hair add a touch of edginess.

Miss: Kristin Cavallari’s billowing fringed tunic looks like it could either be an old Tiffany lampshade or a Stevie Knicks castoff. Good thing she has that ridiculously oversized clutch to hide behind.

Hit: Anne Hathaway looks comfortable and chic as she channels the 70’s at the 25th Annual Drama Desk Awards in this flattering black pantsuit that is perfectly accessorized with chandelier earrings, pumps, a statement ring, and soft waves.

Miss: Every woman needs a well-cut suit for occasions when she needs to look her most professional, like job interviews, business lunches…or court appearances.

Lindsay Lohan’s plunging neckline seems less-than-appropriate for the latter, and while the fashion jury is still out on the actress’ seductive attire, the real judge ordered her to wear a new accessory – an alcohol-monitoring anklet.

Longoria Parker’s dress incorporates too many elements with beading, ruffles, studs, a big bow and a sheer top, and raccoon eye-makeup as icing on the over-the-top cake. It’s a shame that Beckham didn’t wear one of her own terrifically tailored designs, because her shapeless silk mini-dress looks unfinished.
