I consider myself to be a student of all things James Franco, which is why I'm thrilled to hear that the demigod-performer is teaching a course at Columbia College Hollywood about, well, himself: Master Class: Editing James Franco… with James Franco. For an entire semester, James Franco will film students editing footage of James Franco (swoon!). Much like the professor, the concept of the class is either utterly brilliant or completely idiotic. I spend a lot of time thinking about James Franco, and I still can't figure out whether or not he takes his antics (and himself) seriously, or whether it's all a genius joke about how much you can get away with when you're absurdly hot, rich, famous. But he's so dreamy that I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt. [Gawker]
