Michelle Monaghan was just on our list of best dressed stars of the week, an honor the actress has earned several times recently. Yet, she still manages to fly mostly under the radar. The star has appeared in many big films, including Gone Baby Gone, Made of Honor, Eagle Eye, and Due Date. Michelle doesn’t usually walk the red carpet unless she has a movie to promote, although she has the uncanny habit of looking stellar whenever she does make an appearance. While out promoting her latest endeavor, Source Code, she has managed to look consistently glamorous!

Even back at the October 2007 Gone Baby Gone Los Angeles premiere, Michelle demonstrated her red carpet prowess, arriving in a one-shouldered Derek Lam dress. The taupe color was surprisingly flattering. For the April 2008 Made of Honor screening, Michelle wore a Monique Lhuillier gown, featuring a sweetheart neckline and jewel detail at the waist.

When it came time for the April 2009 Star Trek premiere in Los Angeles, Michelle turned heads in an electric neon pink Versace silk racer-back dress. Embracing the strong shoulder trend back in August 2009, the actress attended the New York City screening of Inglourious Basterds, in a form-fitting navy Rachel Roy number. The dress was complemented by Manolo Blahnik sandals and a silver cuff.

RM by Roland Mouret supplied the silver voluminous dress Michelle donned for the Los Angeles premiere of Invictus in December 2009; the heels are by Diego Dolcini. Back in Derek Lam, the oversized bow really defined this strapless bustier Michelle wore for the Iron Man 2 premiere in April of last year. Her yellow satin and black laced Derek Lam shoes contrasted just enough with the magenta dress.

Shortened from the runway version, this Versace dress, which the star chose for the October 2010 showing of her film Due Date out in Los Angeles, was accented with clear shoulder panels as well as nude Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps. The New York City showing of Source Code just last month saw Michelle working a sleeveless teal Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2010 dress with an asymmetrical skirt. Strappy black Chrissie Morris sandals and a Jimmy Choo Latoya clutch were the finishing touches.
Judging by her recent red carpet showings, Michelle’s hot streak is bound to continue.
