This embellished Alberta Ferretti Fall 2009 frock was shortened from the runway and styled with Yves Saint Laurent Tribtoo pumps. It was an unconventional ensemble from the Marchesa Fall 2010 offering at the 2010 Library Lions benefit in New York City last November. Zac Posen was behind her dramatic lace couture creation which was a fitting choice for this year’s Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art since it celebrated Alexander McQueen. The corseted mermaid gown with an intricate train was combined with Fred Leighton ruby and diamond drop earrings. For the Fourth Television Academy Honors in Los Angeles this May, Christina opted for a Dolce & Gabbana pairing of an ivory tie-neck blouse with a black pencil skirt. Salvatore Ferragamo black satin heels and a matching clutch completed the ladylike look.
