Prada has announced a made-to-order bespoke handbag service for their customers. The purse customization service is available in Prada’s Paris, London, Milan and Tuscany stores.
Customers will be able to choose from a wide variety of decadent materials (suede, leather, crocodile, python, alligator, snakeskin…), rich colors, hardware and detailing so that their bag can be a reflection of their personal tastes and style.
Prices are available upon request, as they are evaluated based on material, color and hardware used. The waiting list for a chance to have your very own customized Prada handbag is now pushing two months.
Perhaps this new offering is Miuccia’s call to arms for originality in a sea of last season’s ‘It’ bags…
