Rumors have been floating around that Victoria “Posh” Beckham was gearing-up to show at Bryant Park this September after she was quoted as saying “I’m working on a collection of dresses at the moment, which I plan to show in September.” The ex-Spice Girl will however not be showing on the runway.
Instead, she will be presenting her collection of dresses during New York’s Fashion Week by appointment only over a several day period for top editors and buyers.
Beckham’s foray into dresses, which she has described as being completely different from what she’s done in the past, saying “I’m just putting it together at the moment, but they will be very upscale dresses and likely will start at around $1,200 retail. I’m going to be using very expensive fabrics and finishes, lots of embroideries.”
This follows her denim and sunglasses collections.
