Seven New York is known for stocking a great selection of today’s most unique and progressive brands. They’ve initiated what’s to be an ongoing collaborative project along with Symrise and Metaproject dubbed the Six Scents Fragrance Initiative. As the name states, this annual collaboration consists of six scents which go into production and are designed by a select six of the many designers that Seven carries in their shop.
To kick things off for this exciting project and the perfumers, they’ve been paired up with are Alexandre Herchcovitch and Joachim Correll, Bernhard Willhelm and Lucas Sieuzac, Cosmic Wonder Light Source and Philippe Paparella-Paris, Gareth Pugh and Emilie Coppermann, Jeremy Scott and Philippe Roques and finally, the duo of Preen who paired up with Mark Buxton. They have all teamed up with talented perfumers to create scents which are as unique and alluring as their respective design aesthetics.
If that wasn’t reason enough to check it out, proceeds of these one of a kind fragrances will go directly to charity by way of helping to fund an AIDS research facility with a project opening date of December 2008, in Antwerp, Belgium. These scents are only limited to 2,000 units so acting fast would be to your benefit, as well as to the benefit of many in need.
