As if the prospects of seeing R.J. Cutler’s documentary film “The September Issue” on A&E later this year wasn’t exciting enough, rumors are swirling that 60 Minutes is doing a piece on American Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour.
New York Magazine is reporting that they’ve spotted 60 Minutes cameras following Wintour at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund awards dinner last November and at a panel discussion she partook in last month with David Remnick and Graydon Carter. Whether the 60 Minutes piece will ever air, when it would air, and whether or not it will air in conjunction with “The September Issue” are as of yet undetermined, but Morley Safer is reportedly the reporter doing the story.
