These images, from photographer Lucia Giacani’s website, aren’t of clothes per se – but form a composite profile of leather’s latest trends, with an emphasis on the less conventional colors and softer, more pliable textures – the exact kind of leather I need more of in my life.
Nudes, caramel, butterscotch, peaches (colors that sound like you want to take a bite of them) in the softest hides possible. To take it a step further, the tender colors are used on garments – not just in shoes, bags or jackets – like draped Grecian-style dresses/skirts, or as giant bows and collars as illustrated here.
