ILLAMASQUA: THE BRITISH MAC

With Topshop now stateside and Smarties available at corner bodegas, it was only a matter of time before Illamasqua crossed the Atlantic too.

The beauty company, dubbed the British MAC, gained cult status with its vivid colors and top-notch formula.  From matte black lipsticks to fringed faux-lashes, there’s something for everyone — unless, that is, you lived outside the UK. But Sephora is finally sharing the love, making the brand available online right now, and it will be in stores at the end of the month.

While many of Illamasqua’s standouts, like their nail varnish, intense lip gloss, and pure pigment, are making the continental crossover, there are still a few things that you’ll only be able to get in the mother country (like the aforementioned black lipstick, which contains ingredients you can’t use stateside). Which means that there’s still a reason to take that trip to London…
