Gucci Incorporates AC/DC Logo Into Fall Fashion Line

During Milan Fashion Week in February, Gucci was flagged as having a collaboration with AC/DC the in the works. The New York Times suggested that the brand’s Fall 2016 line would incorporate ACDC’s logo, with the line to include “long, ostrich-trimmed gowns and short studded leather suits; big shoulders and puffed shoulders; fur trim and fur cuffs; putti prints and giant shaggy furs;hostess dresses with fluted sleeves and one with AC/DC sequined on the back.”

Russh Magazine posted a photo to Instagram of an early iteration of the dress in March…

Now it appears that Gucci has indeed followed through with the final version of the dress, as the cover design for the latest issue of T, The New York Times fashion magazine seems to indicate. The image was taken by photographer Jackie Nickerson and features the back of a model wearing a dress emblazoned with a glitter AC/DC logo on it.

Although there has been no official announcement from either Gucci or AC/DC, Metal Injection speculates that the dress will likely cost around US$12,000, putting AC/DC in the upper echelons of high fashion, a place where not many would have predicted they would end up.
