From TV to the runway to the malls
Top American designer Michael Kors launched an entire Fall collection last year inspired by the decade, and now '60s inspired items are flying off the shelves at Macy's, Bloomingdales, and Banana Republic. Even Oprah kicked off her 2009 season with a show dedicated to Mad Men, where the audience dressed up in their '60s best.

Mad Men is about Sterling Cooper, a fictional advertising agency starring heavy hitter and suave ad man Don Draper, portrayed by Jon Hamm.
