All about Screen Printing & Stencils

For stencil-making , a good website is

Lots of free tutorials and you can see the kind of work other people make too.

Some examples of great work from the site:

first one (western style t-shirt) is by bsquared

Thanks! I've been thinking of screen printing my own shirts for a while now and this thread is a good start for me.

do you print repeats/patterns, elytrae ?
i'm trying to find a way to get the alignment better when i'm doing repeats

sometimes the fabric moves too..

gius, I'm very much a novice at this. I've only done some hand painting on T-shirts and did not like the results.

ohhh i misread your post
i thought you said you've been printing for a while now already

Would love to see your stuff once you get some things done
i'll post some things too
so far i have done only tests... no 'complete' project like t-shirt, etc.
just random pieces with a print on it to see how the print will look

Separating colour layers on Adobe Photoshop

This is from the Photoshop thread...
It's for separating colour layers to create your stencils.

^Now that's a neat trick to try on a shirt. I'll post my results once I get something done... it'll be a while though (just too many other things to do).
