The style is too short and too plain. It has no texture to it; it's cut straight.

My hair dresser wants to give me a bob but I need to be able to pull my hair back sufficiently :/

I find the bob style too harsh for my face - about three or so years ago, I had my hair cut in a similar fashion (minus the bangs), and was instantly reminded why I should always keep my hair long.

Anyway, the bob can be cute when it works - otherwise, like any other hairstyle, it looks awkward and silly.

nope, but I did like the hair at chanel. it looks cute on the models, they have the features for it. gosh, now that I think about it, I hardly see any girls wearing short hair here. I understand it's hard to pull off though..

I got a bob haircut last July based on Tanya Chubko's bob but the problem with the bob cut on me is it ends up having no movement and stays in place plus looks like the hair version of mom jeans. I was considering cutting my hair like Alexa Chung in the fall, but I might grow my hair longer instead. I love cutting my hair shorter though because it's less hair and washing it is so quick and easy but the issues with it I already mentioned are why I might not cut it shorter again.

Wow, I'm the only one who's voted yes so far! The truth is, I have no choice but to get a bob haircut, as I am growing out a (longish) pixie cut. I'm surprised with the negative comments towards bobs, it's such a great and versatile haircut. I agree that the really short, severe ones can be difficult to pull off for a lot of people, but longer, swingy bobs are universally flattering in my opinion.

I'm in the process of trying to grow it out, and it's a painful process. It looks nice when it's freshly cut, but after a month it looks like your wearing a bell on your head

I love that haircut, especially Katie Holmes looks great, but my hair became so long in the last months that I just can´t cut it.

i have had a bob last summer. i had really short hair and while growing it out, i decided to go for a bob because short hair that grows out and doesn't have a real cut looks quite bad. i liked the bob. but now i'm very happy that i managed to grow out all my hair

I had a layered shoulderlenght hairdo but after a while I ended up hating the layers, so I cut it and now I have an "involuntary" bob.
Something like Gwyneth Paltrow´s actual do, but I´m desperate for it to grow past my shoulders.

When the hair touches my shoulders it tends to bend inwards, and I hate it, makes me remember my math teacher.
