This very well made vintage designer evening dress is just stunning... Circa 1940's... it's made of black crepe with a beaded waist, metal side zipper and is unlined. The double straps tie at the top of the shoulders. A classic style that will never go out of fashion.
1940's Black Satin & Lace Dress
This is a 1940's very black & very gorgeous vintage dress. Bodice is a silky satin with a nice shine to it. Skirt is a flowy taffeta with a sheer black chiffon layer on top. It's trimmed in lace and has 2 bows on the shoulders. Side metal zipper closure.
1940's Blue & Yellow Dress Jacket & Belt Set
This is an adorable 40's vintage dress set with the original matching belt & jacket. The yellow is a gorgeous color. Dress is navy blue with that same color print and sprinkled with rhinestones.
1940's Blue Plaid Knit Dress
Here is a ridiculously cute and rare 40's vintage dress... It even still has it's matching belt. The mesh cotton knit top is a natural color, stretchy, & sheer... there are little matching mesh inserts on the skirt too. It has a side metal zipper. Skirt fabric is white with blue plaid print. So cute!
1940's Brown & Yellow Floral Dress
Here's another adorable vintage dress from the 40's. The color and the matching buttons are just beautiful... in a brown & yellow with green & white details. The buttons match the print & the color. Side metal zipper. This is unlabeled so we're not sure if it's rayon or silk. It's not sheer but it's nice and flowy, unlined and no padded shoulders.
1940'S Bubble Peplum Dress
This is a gorgeous vintage 1940's dress. It has a metal zipper on one side, a bubble peplum skirt , ruffles around the top of the boned bodice, sequins & beading on the front of the bodice. Dress is unlined. The colors are fabulous on the deco rose print fabric, muted blues, greens and cream.
1940's Silk Green Yellow Print Dress
This is a beautiful all silk chiffon pleated 1940's vintage dress. The pattern is classic 40's almost Hawaiian looking. Padded shoulders, metal side zip, metal buttons in front. Photos don't do this one justice...Really.
1940's Yellow Light Wool Day Dress
This is an adorable 40's soft mustard yellow light weight wool dress with matching belt and cream/ivory angora cashmere trim around the sleeves and neckline. It has a metal zipper on one side, walking slits in the back of the skirt, and a slide belt that fits all sizes. Darts all in the right places for a sexy but sweet fit.

Here's a gorgeous and rare vintage 1940's dress. We believe this is cashmere but it's not labeled. It's a very soft mustard yellow wool with a metal zipper on one side, & an attached tie belt. Unlined.
1940's Cinema Mink Puff Dress
Here's a a rare & so adorable vintage 1940's dress by the Cinema label. They made clothing for the movie industry here in California in the 40's & 50's. It has a removable beige mink fur ball & bow on the front, & a metal zipper on one side. Movie clothing always have the actors name written on the inside, usually next to the tag. This one has been marked out next to the label. It does not show through to the outside. We have no idea which movie this was used in.
1940's Sheer Teal Fluttery Dress
This is a gorgeous vintage 40's dress made of teal sheer print either silk or rayon chiffon. It has a matching tie belt, and the waist has some small delicate elastic at the waist. The skirt is sewn so beautifully with a jagged or zigzag hem or bias cut that flares out so nicely.
