I've seen some of the new jackets and they look just the same as they always were when AC was designing. I think that's the main thing that keeps people interested if it is being sold. Like Blum* said,that was AC bread & butter.
Side-note. Jeffrey's women's selection this season is absolutely TERRIBLE. So Upper-East-Side
Andra Courreges 1923–, French fashion designer whose designs were especially popular and influential during the 1960s. He worked for the couturier CristObal Balenciaga from 1950 to 1961, when he opened his own house. Often using white, Courreges created space-age, unisex styles and is known for dresses and trouser suits featuring straight, flat lines and sheer tops that sometimes sported cut-outs. He is often credited with the invention of the miniskirt, which he frequently paired with shiny white boots. He later experimented with such looks as "gladiator" and ethnic outfits.
I love him! He is still inspiring many stylists and designers with his legacy. Those boots are wonderful and could be by Helmut Lang or Margiela these days .
decades in los angeles had an amazing courreges collection installed in their upstairs shop some time ago. some fantastic woman owned a giant closet full of his stuff, and when she died her estate sold the collection to decades. it was brilliant to see and touch, and buy if you were a tiny woman with great taste.
Courreges is one of my absolute favorites. I was actually going to start a thread on him but I've been maxed out on the Internet lately. Thanks, Space and Anna for pictures!

I´ve personally never been a big fan of Courrèges, especially with the colours, the orange-y red, the silver and whites - I know it´s been the Zeitgeist for a certain period but for me, it instantly feels like vintage Star Trek costumes... nothing I would probably consider *wearing* (still more so than vinatge Paco Rabbane )
